    A blocked punt has led to a Buckeye rout. It's a shame, but the Hoosiers are turning the ball over way too much today.

    The Boilermakers were a dropped pass away from tying this game. They lost 24-17 but played quite well the 2nd half.

    Purdue is showing some life! I know, it's hard to believe. They're only down 24-17 with about 12 and a half minutes left, and they have the ball. Stay tuned.

    It's just amazing how bad Purdue football has become this season!

    Bottom line is, if the Irish can't win against Army and USC, they have no business being in the playoffs. Not that either will be easy, but those games are very winnable.

    Not a bad weather night for the games. It could be a lot worse, like last night. There's no sign of snow in most of central Indiana. Good luck to those still playing!

    Most of the snow is gone on the westside of Indy. It looks like a pretty normal day for this time of the year. Temperature is well above freezing now and expected to get into the 40's before the day is out.

    Oh, I totally agree! Civic pride seems to have moved on. We are now a money driven society. Your post has proven my point.

    Deja vu all over again. The annual P/P debate. And I was not calling for WNDY to televise the semi-state and the finals. It's sad that there isn't enough civic pride for someone to step up and present IHSAA state finals to the entire state.

    I guess the bottom line is always more important than serving the community. I know all about ISC and I know Rake well. That's all I've got to say on this matter.

    I guess, WNDY, Channel 23, must've lost a whole lot of money this year then! And WHMB, Channel 40 likewise in prior seasons.

    I'm not a gambling man, but I believe I would take IU and the 13 points. And as far as Tuberville and other SEC loyalists, they seem to never look in the mirror.

    Oh, no doubt! I was told by one of their commissioners that none of the local Indy stations cared to carry the games. This was about 10 years or so ago, and I just laughed in his face! I guess there's enough fans that will buy into what they're selling. PPV for high school championship sports just sounds wrong to this old fan.

    The semi-state and finals would be better for me if the IHSAA found a local network that would carry the games instead of streaming. I guess it' their game however.

    Nice comeback win for the Colts today, 28-27 over the Jets. Anthony Richardson looked like he belonged today.
