Agreed. And I'm thinking they get off to a 1-2 start IN OOC play with North Dakota State, @ Nebraska and @ Colorado State.

Not at all and perfectly reasonable. ND State is going to be ready to go Thursday night in Boulder.

Speaking of FCS, the pecking order in that division is interesting. Here's their AP Top 5: 

1. South Dakota State
2. North Dakota State
3. Montana
4. Montana State
5. South Dakota

Chattanooga at 8 and Furman at 9 are the only SEC footprint schools in the Top 10. Maybe that's why North Dakota State doesn't jump up to FBS. Their area of the country runs the FCS.

And probably have some of the coolest campuses in the Nation. One of my nieces just graduated from Montana State. While I never did visit her, the campus looks really cool. Her apartment had a great view of the mountains.

I was at Montana’s campus years ago. Cool location in Missoula. Walked up the side of the mountain overlooking the campus and stadium with the big M.  Love the Griz mascot!

One of my client's daughters goes to grad school at NDSU and I'm in the area a lot on business.

I was hoping to see NDSU pull off the road win in Boulder, but at least it's enjoyable to watch Travis Hunter play. Whoever drafts him would be foolish not to play him both ways. He also has a 4.0 GPA. Impressive kid.

It was a very good game; CU could really air it out.   I still don't think the Buffs will make the CFP, though.

ACC: Clemson, Miami

XII: Utah

B1G: Oregon, Ohio State and Penn State

SEC: Although it pains me (and if they're not incarcerated), Georgia.  Also, Alabama and Texas

Outliers: Boise State, Memphis, Notre Dame

I doubt that happens as well. Their defense is shaky and they have no run game. Still wouldn't be surprised if they lost to Nebraska and Colorado State.

Agreed, but I'm not 100% sold on the Huskers.  They'll be better third year but noting beyond 8-4.

Tonight might be the first time I've ever pulled for USC.  I don't mine that Brian Kelly is gone from Notre Dame, I just didn't like the way he did it.  It's mighty strange rootin' for the Trojans.

I was texting an older brother during the game about how Kelly's teams never won big games. I made the comment that even at ND, he was always blaming someone else.

Boston College is up 28-13 over Florida State, with 2 minutes left!  It doesn't look good for the 'Noles making the playoffs.
