My "OH MY" teams of the week!

Benton Central - BC has been bad for a long time, but Seeger beat them 51-2.  They seem to be worse than usual.  LCC beat Seeger 55-6.  LCC plays Benton Central on October 11. "OH MY"

 

Attica - Attica has lost 30 games in a row.  They lost to Tri-County 44-7 on Friday.  Covington beat Tri-County 25-20.  I wonder who will win the Attica/Covington game this year.  This is ridiculous! 

 

Brown County - Brown County won 1 game the last 2 years.  This year they are 2-0.  This might be their best team in years.  "OH My"  Congrats to Brown County.

North Putnams. They beat North Monts 52-20 and the Mounties 32-27. Their QB had over 400 yards of total offense in week 2 alone.

Avon:  Beat defending state champion Ben Davis 29-28 in overtime.

Terre Haute North:  Ended a 14 game losing streak and beat Mooresville 36-32.

Prairie Heights is 2-0. They have certainly been one of the worst teams in the state the last 10 years. They will likely come back to Earth this Friday as they play Lakeland, but nice to see them at 2-0

My first Oh My has to go to Pike Central for starting 2-0 for the first time since 2004. I know they have a tough schedule remaining for the rest of the year, but congrats to them for getting it done! My second has to go to North Knox's QB who threw for 299 yards last week. North Knox has been a running team ever since HC retired back in 2015. This year is their first year in a spread look and I like what I saw from this kid.

That would be an amazing point, if any of those wins were against conference opponents.  But yeah, it’s a weak conference.  We should run the table.  Feels good to finally be able to say that after years of aimless wandering in the wilderness.

Brebeuf's offense is pretty "oh my". They put up 49 in the first half against a 6A team last week. To put up 35 against Chatard was pretty impressive as well. The other game the scored 27 but only played 1 half due to weather.

Brebeuf wins this game 69-62. 1,628 yards of total offense. Harris of Brebeuf rushes for 402 yards and 5 TDs. Guerin's QB throws for 638 yards and 8 TDs. Guerin had a receiver with 26 catches for 397 yards and 6 TDs.

Union County still has not scored, losing to Hagerstown 62-0.  Through four games, they have been outscored 262-0.

Warren Central isn't the only team to not allow a point through four games. Mississinewa has outscored four opponents 152-0.

Martinsville trailed Decatur Central 35-0, but came back ans won 39-38.

Brebeuf is the equivalent of in a video game when you create a character and spend all your points maxing out one attribute (Offense) and don't have any points left to use on anything else like defense.
