I'm betting on the Tigers. This is time of year that the Pirates fold up and go home.

It wasn't like LCC didn't have its opportunities, but it was amazing that the game was as close as it was with LCC giving away a fumble and three picks.  There'll maybe be opportunity for four former 1As to be there again next year.

The advantages a minority of p/p schools have over their majority government school counterparts has been debated  repeatedly over the years on the GID, so no need to re-elaborate.  Superior coaching in a Catholic setting is one of those advantages.

Yes. Jimmy's and Joe's beat X's & O's.   P/P schools also tend to have a higher concentration of "OMG! Athletes!" walking their halls that actually participate in extracurricular athletics than their government school counterparts.

Had the privilege of playing for both cyo n public feeder schools..cyo preach fundamentals... pun intended..3 to 5 yds every play..heck even played on Sundays... yes they get talent yet their feeder programs are some of the best around..imo
