Notre Dame wasn't included in the Playoffs for their schedule alright, their future schedule: The committee knew Notre Dame would be in the bracket spot scheduled to play Indiana in the semifinal

The CFP couldn't have Notre Dame ruining their cute Cinderella story. Prove me wrong.

Wow, this could be a challenge, but I’ll give it a shot. The committee puts Notre Dame at 10, and then ND plays Ohio State if they beat A&M.

Somehow, the committee had no problem putting IU and ND in a first round game last year.  They would have no issues putting them in the same bracket this year or any year in the future.  That is a game that would bring intrigue and ratings.  But you are probably right as to where they would have been with the seedings this year had they Irish made it in.

The Committee’s final act, before it goes away forever, should be to sit down with Jeff Sagarin. They should explain to him what is important in determining relative playoff rankings. Then they should go away, let him tweak his algorithms based on that discussion, and he’ll take it from there. No muss, no fuss.

Oh, and it should be a condition of Sagarin’s contract with the CFP that he has to continue the Indiana high school football ratings page. 😉

It truly shows the importance and prestige that Notre Dame brings to the national stage when no one even wants to discuss the teams actually chosen to play for a National Championship as we head into the Semifinals of the CFP!

Go Irish!

Post season playoffs and bowls to date….Big 10 5-0, SEC 2-3, Independents 0-0

Been saying it all year, nobody touches the Big 10 this year. SEC is overrated, they got all the hype because they are in bed with ESPN, who so happens to control the CFP. Follow the money…

Back to the games, who does everyone have in the quarterfinal games:

Ohio State 31 - Miami 17

Georgia 24 - Ole Miss 14

Oregon 28 - Texas Tech 24

Indiana 31 - Alabama 20

I’m going with Notre Dame to crush Michigan in the finale

Has Indiana really proven they can win any type of Tournament game outside their home state? This year they barely won a game 53 miles from home in the same state, and last year they got beaten decisively when they had to travel less than 200 miles IN THEIR OWN STATE.

I'm not completely convinced they can travel to California and win.

They beat Oregon 30-20 in Eugene 3 months ago and won by 27 the last time they played at the Rose Bowl. Thursday's crowd will be way more Pro-IU than Alabama. I much more worried about the team on the field than the intangibles.

Most idiotic take yet from you. IU is 23-2 the last 2 years, have beaten everyone in the Big 10 they have played be it home, away, or neutral field. Only Big 10 team to go into Oregon since they have joined the Big 10 and win, by double digits. Held the Buckeyes to 10 points in winning the Big 10 title. Most points given up in a single game this year was 24 points to Penn State. Utterly dominant. Pretty sure the Hoosiers can and will show up to play wherever the game is

interesting how the mind works…like playing in Notre Dame stadium as a visitor gives a team an advantage if your team is from the same state? Am I wrong that OSU was well represented in the Big 10 championship game?  What’s the point of this comment?

0-1 in CFP tournament games. Unproven there as I said earlier.

That wasn't a tournament or bowl game.

IU has won some big games this year, but they are very inexperienced when it comes to post-season big games. They're 1-1 in those the last 2 years.
