Gibson Southern (10-1) at Evansville Mater Dei (6-5)

About time GS gets to go play in the bowl. 
 

admittedly I haven’t followed the closest this year….but I get the impression that people are taking MD for granted.

Mater Dei is pleased to be in the Sectional Championship game and understands it faces a huge hurdle in Gibson Southern.  GS is appropriately favored by double-digits and many consider this game a near shoo-in for the Titans, going so far as to suggest the Titans roll the Cats by 3 TDs more.   Could be, we'll see.  Mater Dei will show up anyway and give it their best.  We will see if it is enough. 

IMHO, for MD to win...they will have to score at least 24 pts and hold GS to 21 or less.  Monumental tasks on both fronts to be certain.  MD's defense played really well for 46:51 of their game against Memorial and then fell apart in shocking fashion.  MD will need a similar effort on D tonight vs Titans for the full 48 mins.  On offense, they will need to do something different IMHO.  They have been far too predictable on offense this year, allowing opposing D's to really dig in on certain tendencies.

However, I am a devout homer for the Wildcats and my prediction is 24 - 21 Mater Dei in an upset to be heard around the state on Class 3A.  Go Wild Cats!

Would be very surprised if MD holds GS to 28.

APOLOGIES, I didn't see the "Highland" tag.  You obviously have nothing better to do than hang around and drop turds in other team's chats.   When was the last time you guys didn't pretty much stink at everything - never?  Pretending to be a proxy fan of some other team - any other team - is your only shot at being relevant.  Highland's best athletic season is summer break.  So yes, on to basketball and wrestling.  I see Highland moved up to # 98 (of 101)  in 3A hoops. Only 7 mos until summer... CHEERS!

What is it with southern Indiana fans thinking the team im showing on my profile is who i really root for.

I dont even know where highland is other than north and west of my current location.

I flipped my team to Highland when I bet on them to win in temps poll (they lost in triple ot feelsbad)
