Attica vs Tri County - Attica may not be as improved as expected, but Tri County may not win a game this year. 20-13.

Covington vs Purdue Englewood - What is this pick up? What is an Englewood? Are the Trojans cherry picking Ws, or could they genuinely not find a team to play.

Fountain Central vs Crawfordsville - FC lost a VERY tough one last week, and Crawfordsville won a very close one. ThePrince is probably jumping for joy in Herb's basement that Earls didn't pull off the week 1 win against SM that Herb never could. Give me Crawfordsville in a 21-12 game.

NV vs Paris - NV played NC a little closer than I expected. I don't know how Paris is but they got close W last week. 28-7.

Seeger vs BC - Both teams coming off a loss last week. Ill take Seeger here in a very close one. 21-20.

SV vs Sullivan - SV has an impressive backfield that will be able to make plays, but I don't think their defense is up to par yet. Especially not this week when they have to go up against one of the states best RBs. Ill take Sullivan 41-14.

PH vs WV - Both teams coming off a loss last week, but I will give the edge to PH this week. 34-28.

RP vs Tri - RP by 1000.

I don't have the WRC helmets done yet, but here's Poly...

Covington’s week 2 canceled.  This was a late pickup.

Attica @ Tri County - What a game this will be. I don't think Attica is as bad as Tri County but it will be a close game. 28-20

Covington @ Englewood - I'm guessing this is the only team that Covington could find with an opening. Covington's QB is pretty tough. I saw he accounted for 5 TDs last week and I see him doing the same this week. The Trojans score and win by as many as they want.

FC @ Cville - Southmont is down this year. Cville ran all over PH and they will do the same to FC.

Paris @ NV - Cloverdale has the injury bug. NV's offense couldn't move the ball last week. I see the same issues again this week. Paris is a tough non conference matchup. 42-12 Paris

Seeger @ BC - GAME OF THE WEEK! - Look for the Bison to bounce back this week. IF BC's TE could've played last week it would have been a different story. They moved the ball but bad errors and mistakes killed a lot of their drives. I'm not sold on Seeger yet. This will be one of their toughest opponents they face all year. I see Coach King getting a little revenge this week. BC 28-21

SV @ Sullivan - Sullivan will flex their muscles and ground and pound SV. Sullivan will be the much more physical team. The RB #3 is the real deal for them. SV did surprise me by how many points they were able to score on WV but Sullivan is much better. Sullivan 35-14

West Vigo @ PH - This will be a good game. West Vigo got things rolling a little too late last week. I look for Crabtree's squad to come out rolling this week. This one will come down to the last position. WV wins 28-21

RP @ Tri - Two very similar offenses and mindsets. Both are going to run the ball 40 times. This game might be over before 8:30. Even if Linton was missing a couple of keys players it is still a massive win RP. They will keep it rolling this week and win big. RP 60-7

Attica at Tri County - An injured and depleted Attica team gets a W at Tri-County to push them into conference play next week.  Attica 20 TC 6

Covington at Englewoods - Everyone time I see Englewood, I think a team from Compton, CA has come to Indiana.  Covington by a million.  stat padder.... They are a true beneficiary of a light schedule to start the season.  Cov 50 Engelwood ("Up to no good" -- TuPac California Love) 18

Fountain Central at Crawfordsville - I saw the highlight of the end of last week's game vs Southmont.  What a heartbreaker.  Coach Earl will have to wait another week to get his first win.   Crawfordsville 22 FC 12

Paris, Il. at North Vermillions.   I don't know much about either team.  This is NV's chance to snag a win before a tough next couple weeks.   I don't think it happens.   Paris 34 NV 22

Seegers at Benton Central:  The Patriots will open up the field and toss the ball all night.   Maybe even get a D1 TE to submit his transfer papers...  Seeger 48 BC 6

South Vermillions at Sullivan - Curious to see the SV's please stand up, please stand up (Hey, its a 90's rap theme week for me).  I know nothing about North Knox, but Sullivan ran for 300+ and had 17 TFL's.   I think the Purple Golden Arrows put up 50 (Cent) on the Wildcats and dominate up front.   Sullivan 50 SV 30

West Vigos at The Woofs:  The Woofs nearly pulled off a big win last week vs Crawfordsville just before a late interception near the endzone.   Coach Rector opened up the offense and I'm sure the fanbase was doing cartwheels.   I look for a repeat only the Woofs get the W   PH 30 WV 13

Riverton Parkes at Tri on Saturday. -  Is RP that good or is Linton down this year?  Checking RP's stats, you see some common names like McConnell and Collom but have zero clue who the others that are showing up.  Where do they get all these guys?? Tri does have an all-state back who's a stud.  Can the Panther's contain him or are they overconfident from last week?    I think Tri's speed and all-state back humble the Panthers before conference season starts and get the W.   Tri 35 RP 30

Attica @ Tri County- Thought Attica would pull one out last week, I think this is their week to get a non-conference win. Give me the Ramblers.

Covington @ Englewoods- If Covington wants to be competitive in the WRC they better beef up their non-conference schedule a bit. This is going to be another stat padding game for the Trojans. Rubbers by as many as they want.

FC @ Crawfordsville- Crawfordsville pulled one off against what I thought was a much improved PH team. I don't think FC is better than PH at the moment. Earl may have to wait another week to get his first career win. I'll take the Athenians winning this in a close one.

Paris @ NV- NV played a lot better than I thought they would against the TBirds. I don't think they have what it takes to get a win this week. Paris is a decent program, gimme the Tigers.

Seeger @ Herbs- Although Herb is a HOF coach I think his alma mater gets the best of him this week. Not sure the Bison are going to out last the Patriots this time.

SV @ Sullivan- Golden arrows by as many as they want

WV @ PH- PH lost a close one last week. Crabtree is a great coach that has already planned for this offense. I think Crabtree will have the Viks ready to roll in Rockvllle. I'm taking the Vikings in another close one.

Riverton Parkes @ Tri- This is another good non-conference game for the Panthers. Some polls have Tri in the top 10 and others within the top 15. Heard the running back over there is a stud. Was last week a fluke for the Panthers or are they really what they think they are? Guess we will find out this week. I'll take the Tenderloins winning a close one.

Attica @ Tri County - I think Tri Country is a little worse than Attica. I'll take the Rambles getting their only win of the season. 26-6

Covington @ Englewood - Covington by as much as they want. Yes they've played really bad competition but they are good. Playing a bad team is much better than having the week off. Their QB is one of the better athletes in the conference and he'll show it again this week. Covington 42-6

FC @ Cville - Close one for FC last week. They lost their best player #22 about 10 plays into the game and still had a chance to win the game. I do think part of that is due to Southmont being down this year but I don't think anyone should sleep on the Mustangs. Earl and the Stangs get their first win of the season 26-14

Paris @ NV - I don't know anything about Paris but I know enough about NV to know that this game won't be close. The Falcons will struggle offensively  because of their youth in certain positions. They need to get through this year then the next two will be better. Paris 45-12

Seeger @ BC - @ThePrince How about that game last week??? If only Herbie had his D1 TE. The Bison will win one game all season and it WON'T be this week. It will be week 8. Cronk gets his first win and it's by a lot. The Pats throw the ball all over BC. Running clock at halftime. Seeger 52-6

SV @ Sullivan - SV has all the athletes in the world but I still think they are young and not physical enough. Sullivan will win this one. Sullivan 35-14

West Vigo @ PH - Crabtree goes to PH and walks out with a win. The Vikings looked much better in the second half compared to the first and I think they will carry that momentum over to this game. WV 28-21

RP @ Tri - Another great game for the #1 ranked Panthers. Their win last week shows how good this team really is. I don't see the Panthers letting this one slip away from them. They seem hungry and ready for this week. It's looking more and more like 15-0. RP shocks all of you with dominance this week. RP 56-6.

What up you Nutters, week 2 is here and there were some surprises and some status quo actions from week 1. Initial reaction, I actually feel like the talent from top to bottom in the WRC is increased greatly from last year. Last week of nonconference and then the nuttiness starts to kick off.

Attica at Tri County- Tough go around for the Ramblers, I'll talk more about them in the power rankings post but I question if I was wrong about the Ramblers in the preseason. Tri County is not good and I like Coach Dean and his crew to get it done this week. Attica 27 TC 6

Covington at Englewoods- Covington layed down the wood on Tri County but gain they aren't a good team so I need to see the trojans get battle tested first before jumping to conclusions. What I usually know about these matchup's I like the trojans. Covington 42 EW 20

Fountain Central at Crawfordsville- A bittersweet game for Earl and his crew. A tough loss but a lot of fight and seeing his crew fight without their best player had to be a great sign for Earl and his crew. Cville is good but did not look that tough aganist PH. I anticipate another close game for the Stangs but I'll give the edge to the home team. Cville 22 FC 15

Paris, Il. at North Vermillions- I was surprised by the improvement from the Falcons but they will still struggle while learning how to compete. Paris 34 NV 14

Seegers at Benton Central - Game of the week. Seeger played well and ultimately fell to a good carroll team. BC with Herb will be fired up for this game and I bet there is no love lost for herb to the Patriots. I like Patriots though in a barn burner. Seeger 36 BC 29

South Vermillions at Sullivan- SV looked good in the 1st Half and struggled in the 2nd Half. They are still young but dramatically improved. Sullivan has some dudes and this will be more of a stepping stone game for the Cats this week. I think Sullivan will win but will be closer than last year. Sullivan 35 SV 21

West Vigos at The Woofs- West Vigo is better than I anticipated and so are the woofs but both teams will struggle. I'd like to pick the woofs but I think crabtree will have his crew ready and I like them to win in a thriller. WV 24 PH 20

Riverton Parkes at Tri on Saturday - Well  Well Well this squirrel will admit I was nuts to pick against the Panthers but I'll admit when I'm wrong and maybe they are the real deal. They are good but I still think they aren't up there with teams of the past. I know very little about Tri rather than the fact they run and are physical and have had success in the past decade. Learned my lesson I'll take the Panthers by a couple scores. RP49 Tri 21

God I am Nutty or just educated Idk but I'm about to stuff some Wall NUTS down my gullett and spit em out soon. Hang soon for Power Rankings
