The only thing more dangerous than a fully prepared Carmel football team is that same team that is brimming with an overload of confidence.

Carmal has operated in the shadows this year,  leaving MIC rival Center Grove and Catholic Powerhouse Cathedral to soak up all the state and national attention.

The Hounds have ripped through 8 straight opponents after losing back to back matchups with CG and the Irish, and in my view, they are the most dangerous team in the state at this particular time.

Center Grove and Carmel have stolen the mantle of MIC titans away from Warren and Ben Davis, and the two should should rioll to regional wins this week in advance of a titanic semi state showdown a week from Friday.

Watch out for Carmel.  They are coming on like a freight train, and perhaps even CG is not in position to slow them down

It is a taller task for Greyhounds coming out of the South this year.   That much is certain, concur, they are always dangerous, but there were some who wrote them off after a slow start, WE ALL HAD a slow start !!

Are we suggesting that CARMEL is going to sneak up on someone? LOL

Kind of like sneaking Sherman's army down to Atlanta.  They're so small that no one will see them coming. 😀

Carmel doesn't beat themselves and they play consistently well in the playoffs. The keys to beating CG will be: QB has to get hot and the defense has to cause turnovers. CG will get yardage and be tough to score against. That's how North Central beat CG the previous two years. Keep it close and let them feel the pressure.

I just hope it's a good game regardless of who wins.

Congrats to BD.  I think they surprised everyone with this win over Carmel.

Ben Davis was the measuring stick for Center Grove Coach Eric Moore for 15 years.  When Moore arrived at CG, BD was at the top of its game.  Interesting how the two programs have now switched positions.  BD is now trying to hang with CG.

Never miss a chance to stick it to the Giants.

Nobody gonna feel sorry for the Hounds as the conspiracy theorists thought they should have been in the south bracket all along.

It does suck that they suffered an injury to their starting QB in the sectional and decided their next best option was a converted WR...

He was not very good..
