Basementbias
@Thor77 are the Starfires healthy since a few came off the field last week? Are you concerned about the secondary after a couple DBs got picked on? It took getting pressure to help them out and turn the tide.

I think our DBs will be fine, that was the first time we faced a team that could pass like that in two years. They actually had decent coverage, but Farr was dropping dimes and those receivers made plays. Did much better after some adjustments. There's nothing that signifies any special treatment in altering home/away based on forfeits, COVID, etc. Even if the bye thing applied down the line, it wouldn't have impacted LCC because, even with a bye, LCC played away at Winamac the week AFTER their bye. In other words, whether LCC was at home or on the road for the game that was forfeited, LCC would have played at Winamac. As I stated in my original post covering this, "The only way that South Adams would serve as host is if you altered LCC's away game with TPCS and not only gave the a win, but also changed the bracket and made them home. In that case, South Adams would be home for semi-state because they are Sectional 43, the higher section number, and LCC is sectional 42." This may well be where the IHSAA is going with this if it's going to be scheduled at South Adams now, but it also seems odd that there's no mention or addendum on the IHSAA site, at least as of a couple of days ago, as to how they were handling forfeits which would lead you to believe it was as usual. With that said, I don't know what the IHSAA sends to its member schools, so the only thing the common guys have to go on is what's on their site. According to the local Ft Wayne tv news... thats exactly what the Ihsaa did.... altered the sec title away game that wasn't played w TPC ....to a hm game win for Lcc

Plus SA will be talented, but not this talented. We have some good classes with this years freshman who will be sophomores and juniors that will be seniors in '21. Knowing our luck, we will bump up to 2A with Luers and Eastside. There's a shot. I looked at last year's enrollment at a few schools (8-11) and heres what those enrollments were (i understand schools do lose kids/gain kids) Northeastern 417 (2a currently) Lake Station 403 (1a currently) LaVille 382 (2a currently) Clinton Prairie 380 (1a currently) Seeger 373 (2a currently) Adams Central 370 Busco 368 Bowman Academy 366 (2a currently) Madison Grant 365 South Adams 365 North Newton 359 (2a currently) Winamac 358 Taylor 346 Milan 326 Cloverdale 326 Taylor and Milan were the two biggest 1a schools last cycle if I remember right.. 1a loses Central Catholic and potentially West Washington. They also lost Gary Roosevelt. 2a has lost Howe already. Edited November 17, 2020 by TheStatGuy

Pioneer and Lcc could take turns winning a Reg the next 2 yrs.... causing both to stay 2A... They could. I don't see it though. Central Catholic is gonna be silly good the next two years. I think Pioneer will have enough around next year to do damage but im not sure what they'll be after that. Their talent levels at sophomore, freshman, 8th and 7th aren't the usual Pioneer level. I don't call the Winamac win an upset. The first match up was 7-0 until about a min and a half to go until half. The 2nd time around.. Winamac was running a completely different offense, had virtually a new offensive line and didn't have the miscues they had first time around.
