  1. Sorry, but I don't see New Albany or Bloomington South driving across the state to play a 3A school week #1. I find it more likely they would schedule each other. New Albany week #2 might be possible. Bet I would say a longshot.

  2. If you place a stapler on top of the grill it acts as an antenna to catch the wifi waves.

  3. Sounds like it might be worth getting an access point if nothing more than to connect a grill to your network. This seems like a situation where you do it just because you can. 😃

  4. Off the top of my head, SIAC schools have played non-conference games against Henderson Co, Daviess Co, Owensboro, OCath, Apollo, TH North and South, Princeton, Washington, Pike Central, Crawford Co, New Albany, Jasper, and Indian Creek in the first two weeks of the last few years. There are probably a few more. There should be plenty of schools looking for partners if the SIAC decides on a 9 gamer. I am slightly disappointed that there won’t be a crossover game, but I can see the argument against it. The ‘championship’ game only makes sense if the conference it evenly split or done geographically.

  5. I am. Cathedral and New Palestine are both 4A by enrollment. If New Palestine had scored two points in the last cycle, I would also feel like they should remain in 5A. They've shown they can compete there. So has Cathedral. As for telling me that I should feel the same way the IHSAA does, that's laughable. I disagree much about how the IHSAA handles itself, including this disaster of enforcing a rule change at the end of the cycle to some sports and not others. Ridiculous. You also need to look up the definition of parochial.

  6. Mishawaka was in 5A and elected to stay, when they could have dropped to 4A. And you are missing the difference between a parochial school vs a public school that operate under totally different circumstance. And how is 5A not competive for them? They failed to win a sectional half the time they have been in 5A?

  9. Dang dude....someone hit the booze harder than me last night and seemingly tried sleeping with a badger too 😂 talk about having a bad attitude in short for GS...yes would have liked to join SIAC...didn’t happen oh well time to move on....PAC is beefed up slightly....it not the SIAC (clearly you’re a genius because only you would understand that the SIAC is and will always be the best conference in the area) I mean you just have that next level analysis making points NOBODY HAS EVER HEARD!!! Wow. 😊 GS’s schedule is better...bottom line...have plenty of flexibility...and yes, many teams would like to play GS....because of the team is pretty good (whether you like it or not) and the fans are willing to travel by the masses....so lots of money to be made for road games. be sure to down a few more shots and get all angry at me when you go to respond to this 😂

  10. There are some situations where money does apply, but it has been very rare that I have heard any talk of it. As far as where it would apply, there are contracts the US agreed to with Native American groups, that allowed their property to be mined for oil. The amounts were specific enough to say, we as a nation owe them.

  12. I understand the argument. However, AOC is now a congressman, Bernie Sanders has been in congress for nearly 30 years, Joe Biden save the last two years has been in the federal level of government for almost 45 years, the whole lot of them that are railing against corporate taxes are the ones who created the system by which these corporations don't pay taxes. It's the system they built. And now they want to bitch because corporations don't pay any taxes. They're all long on soundbites for the folks, but they're short on actions to back it up. Case in point AOC just this week with her concentration camp vid. She's a member of congress, perhaps she could point us to the legislation she's drafted to solve the problem at the border? The bottom line is R and D alike have no interest in solving any problems. Look at the posts on this forum, it's ping pong. More to your point I think we've reached a point in our society where the perception is, I'll vote for you based on the promise of what you'll give me. That's a scary proposition in my opinion.

  13. Wrong. Again, I clarified that I was referring to the Tournament Success Factor Era. Only one school has elected to not move down when they had the chance. No one has elected to play up. New Palestine has played in 5A for four years (not six) due to TSF, and will for at least two more. In their four years in 5A, they have lost a state championship, won a state championship, and lost in their sectional twice. As a public school with a enrollment less than 1200, that puts them in the middle third of 4A football. If they were eligible to move down, I would advocate that they stay up, if they've been competitive in that arena. But tournament success factor takes care of that. Cathedral operates under a different set of rules than a public school. New Palestines roster in 2019 had 53 kids. Cathedral had over 90. Their schedule suggests they belong in a higher class. If you can't see that, not sure that I can help you or your sauce. I'm glad to see Cathedral stay in 5A for this cycle. It's the minimum for where they belong in the tournament.

  15. What does this mean gonzo? That there needs to be a U.S. Constitutional amendment which limits the number of "white men" that can hold elected office in Congress?

  16. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2019/06/19/coleman_hughes_the_moment_you_give_someone_reparations_youve_made_them_into_a_victim.html But we are a society the seems to increasingly define itself by our victimhood, and what government can do, no what it has to do, to right that wrong, even if it is a "microaggression". So what Jim Crow laws are still actively in place in the United States of America? Here in Indiana?

  17. So how do you effectively prevent the "white men" from having the majority of political power in the United States? Is there objective, verifiable proof that non-"white men" having the majority of political power will be an improvement?
