Just want to give a public congrats to our 3 sectional champs from the PAC and best of luck to all in a deep postseason run. While tasting defeat is something I’ll never be good at- we (SR) can at least take solace into the fact the 3 teams we lost to this year are all still playing. Go represent the conference and win Regionals so hopefully we can have some local semi-state games!

IU 20 - Wisconsin 14 final The utter mediocrity of the Big 2, er Big 10, reared its ugly head again today. Brutal game to watch, somebody had to win. Dreading seeing the “celebration” video coming out of the IU locker room after this one…

I've read several comments on random threads about the 5a representative from the south bracket at state will not be a bloomington school. And that ultimately whoever comes from the south bracket will not be able to handle snider. I have no idea since I have not seem snider and I'm far removed from the bhss Panthers. been to like 3 or four games in as many years. And with south being prone to injury as they have been in recent years they may not be a threat to win the state title at this point. But looking at the DC Whiteland match-up im not convinced they are at the level bhss is at this season. like opponents include martinsville who defeated DC and gave Whiteland a good game south handled martinsville with ease . My biggest concern is Evansville North at this point. If souths injurred db is able to play with a cast I would pick them to win the semistate if they get past Evansville north. And if we had our kicker still I felt we would have been competitive at state .

I know strange things can happen at this level of the tournament...but I fear this the final week for the conference. Hope I'm wrong.

Now the plot really thickens. This is going to make Nov. 25 even more interesting than usual. The Buckeyes and Big Weasels have no love for one another under the best of circumstances. But this sort of thing makes for real bad blood. If I were assigned to officiate that game, I would be really concerned about preventing some kind of ugly incident. Michigan Reportedly Has Evidence Its Sign Stealing Scandal Was Uncovered And Leaked By Private Investigators With Ties To Ryan Day So it seems Michigan has proof that its sign-stealing operation was brought to light by private investigators linked to Ohio State coach Ryan Day. And I guess they're really pissed off about this? The entire operation was apparently the worst-kept secret in the Big Ten and it's supposed to be some sort of shocking revelation that evidence of the cheating ring was found by Michigan's arch nemesis? I guess there could be some sort of recourse if it ends up being proven that Connor Stalions's computer was accessed illegally, but having evidence you were caught cheating isn't exactly a flex. Now it does make the story that much better and more ridiculous that Day seemingly hired his PI brother to uncover all of this, but it doesn't change the fact that Michigan was the school cheating for years when it magically transformed into one of the best programs in the country. Someone was going to blow the lid on this eventually. This year's Michigan-Ohio State game is going to be one of the must-watch sporting events of all-time, though. I'm actually glad UM has been running this scheme for the content it has already given us and that which is certain to come in the near future. The rest of this season is going to be fun.

Weak. A lot of people are “claiming” to have evidence now because it justifies them getting trucked by Michigan. If I am James Franklin/Ryan Day and am fresh off of ass beatings and my job is in jeopardy, of course I am going to point the finger and say “but look, they are cheating.” If the evidence shows STALIONS, or another Michigan staffer doing the recording themselves, I’ll concede. Even then, it’s a level 3 violation however. The speed limit is also a “rule” that is broken daily and I could give many more examples. The irony in this whole thing is that if you connect the dots here, many of the same coaches who are “outraged” about Michigan’s practices also have a sign guy and their sign guy likely RELIED on Stalions to help them out weekly!!! Spare me the victimization.
