Providence used to play Floyd and New Albany and would still compete against those teams. Non-football would have no problem holding their own in that conference. You could cut the HHC down to 5 and make providence an independent but the goal of this exercise was to find everyone a home and to allow for more interconference matchups. The Big 10 also has more than 10 😆 That's the 1.5 I give to Private schools.

I'd agree. Not every coach/ program is handling the recruiting of their student-athletes the same/ the way that they SHOULD be handling the recruiting of their student-athletes (sad but true). Parents value schools/ programs/ coaches that give their kids the opportunities to achieve their dreams and if that's an athletic scholarship then parents are going to want to be in a situation where they feel their child is being taken care of and guided in that direction. I think allowing a one-time "free" change allows parents that chance to remove themselves and their child from a situation that isn't what they signed up for and isn't providing them the service(s) they believed they would receive. Similar to coaches who go in a different direction after 1-3 years because a school is not holding up their end of the bargain.

Part of the reason Clacks left was because of the coaching during that game…lol. Strep throat or not they should have fed the ball to him more, he’d say the same. Ballentine did look bad in garbage time coming back, but then why go to him halfway through the biggest game of the year. Because they panicked and didn’t know what to do. If you don’t trust Henry, why are you giving him the option to throw with an rpo backed up in your own red zone with a minute left in the half? The current coaching staff has had a mound of excuses made for them every time they’ve lost in the postseason. It was a bad loss and overall a pretty embarrassing display, we don’t have to baby them.
