I could be wrong, but not sure it’s all about $$ for him. I think he could live very well in BTown. IU has a very wealthy athletic department. I believe they chosen in the past not to invest in football. I believe they realize that it’s pretty dang important to do so in this new P4 world. At 63, guessing it’s not just about another job…but, we shall see.

C'mon Temp. Root against an entire program who's never tasted success because a few fans are excited about finally having a great coach and turning the program around? Give IU fans their glory, it'll be short lived anyway. Power five programs all over the country are licking their chops at the opportunity to offer Cignetti a MASSIVE contract. I know I would if I were an AD.

I don't pay attention to Stanford. No idea how they went from the Harbaugh / Early David Shaw era to this. Are the reversible jackets in chaos right now? Or, does IU still stay in the closet until basketball starts?

Yeah I'm okay. I actually went down to Ohio County KY to watch one of my friends kids play. That may be one of the worst teams I've ever seen. They wouldn't beat the current Jennings County. Didnt see the FC game. Heard it was a ref show. Not just against FC but it was just horrible for both sides. Almost 40 flags. I did watch the replay and I saw an FC player have his hands down by his thighs and did a small flex after a tackle and got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. It was also the only black player on the field. I'm tired of the officiating in HS football. And I.O. no I'm not throwing hat in the ring. It's not just here, it's happening in most sports around the country. They think the fans are there for them.

That's a big one, maybe the biggest in many years!

According to Calpreps, New Pal has the second weakest strength of schedule in the Top 25. Come playoff time that will hurt them. Playing meaningful 4th quarter minutes prepares a team for pressure situations.

It never bothers me to be entertained.

Looked it up—in ‘07 the IHSAA Board voted 14-0 to allow a reschedule (due to bad weather) Monday game if both schools don’t play again until Saturday. Vote was prompted by several schools losing games the previous season by not being allowed to play on Monday. Looks like somewhere along the line, it’s quietly fallen back to Commissioner discretion.
