It depends on what we are considering the “Center Grove teams of today” in my opinion. Are we accepting that sendIng over a half dozen guys to D1 schools is the new norm at Center Grove? Or is that an anomaly? Those BD teams in the 90s and Warren teams in the 2000s were loaded just like CG is now but they also had years in which they were not “as rich” with D1 talent. The 2020-21 Trojans could play with anybody but I still think that most of CG’s teams still pale in comparison to the BD/Warren teams mentioned above. Just my opinion.

I heard that too. But not an actual interstate, that would cost too much money..........limited access with lights. Should be ready to go by 2031. Anything to save money. Kind of like that "unique" only the second of it's kind, Diverging Dimond Interchange on Dupont Road. Not what was needed, but it did save the state some money, lol.

Yes - the majority of the county (especially concerning where people LIVE) feeds into the high school. Thus why it is named Warsaw Community High School. As well, while the town of Warsaw has a population of around 15,500 - there are MANY neighborhoods that are just outside of the "city" limits. My old home growing up being one of those. Also, it's important to remember that while Winona Lake is technically a separate town, the two are connected as one. Winona Lake has a population of around 5,000 itself. I would guess that the "greater" Warsaw area has at least 30,000 if not more population considering the county itself has about 80,000. I too am disgusted by this footage. Ground level, no hi-def. It blows my mind that in this day and age, with everything we now know about football, that there are still teams not using endzone cameras to film their practices. 😤 😡🤬

I played against Pendleton and Coach Broughton 6 times and coached against him another 3. Definitely some of the toughest games I was a part of. Even when they did not have spectacular athletes, PHHS was always solid, never bad. Heck of a Coach and person.
