  1. My gold standards are '06 Warren Central and '91 Ben Davis. Those two teams were exceptional. I don't know if we've seen the likes of them since or will see them again.

  2. Agree. Two D1 recruits can't carry a team. It's a pretty good start though.

  4. Their two move-ins have multiple power 5 offers and the senior to be was an Ohio St commit. But agree, two players aren't going to carry you at this classification of football.

  5. Shhhh... you can't say that word on here! lol I just can't get the Kentucky district system out of my brain. And they never could even out the districts with team numbers so there was still some fudging with the schedule. However, there were only 3-4 locked in games so there is still a ton of flexibility in scheduling.

  6. Say what you want about last years CG team but I think they belong in that conversation. Can't really comment on the 91 BD teams as I was in diapers then, but the 2020 CG team is up there with the 06 Warren team. 2020 CG team Average win 40-7 5 shutouts Never gave up more than 14 points 2006 Warren Average win 48-8 5 shutouts That Warren team definitely had more D1 talent but would argue Center Grove played a much tougher schedule. MIC in 06 still had the Terre Haute teams and North Central wasn't what they were today. It's debatable because that Warren Central team was incredible but that CG team was as well.

  8. I have always felt the more class you add the more you water it down. I kind of wish they would go back to five class. But I do like it with six.

  9. Can never count out Columbus East. An oversight on my part.

  10. If so then this individual will never purchase a ticket to that venue.

  12. Another reason the State of Indiana needs to allocate funding for an interstate connecting Fort Wayne to Chicago running through Warsaw. US 30 is a nightmare and one of the most dangerous highway arteries in the state. Oh wait, that money is going toward an interstate from Indy to Rockville.

  13. The coaches were clearly in the wrong but the blame ultimately lies with the league. A good league will insist on all coaches being certified by USA Football. A great league will also have somebody instructing and supervising coaches to be sure this never happens.

  14. Then the coach turns away from the play as if to say "wow", instead of immediately checking to see if the kid is ok. Ignorance on full display.

  15. I too am disgusted by this footage. Ground level, no hi-def. It blows my mind that in this day and age, with everything we now know about football, that there are still teams not using endzone cameras to film their practices. 😤 😡🤬
