  1. I used to be an enforcer on the basketball team. The coach would send me in, remind me that I had five fouls, and told me not to come back until I'd used them all.

  3. I understand coaches yell out for penalties or complain because ones are called...but is this always because they don't understand rules or could this also be because they didn't have the view to actually see what truly happened? Could it be both and not always the lack of understanding the game? BTW, I watched both games yesterday, and listened to both the officiating experts point out what they felt were missed calls...especially with a couple of non-calls. Example, Dean Blandino pointed out a missed late hit on the QB to the head when he was on the ground...replays confirmed he was right and it should have been a foul. Officials do make mistakes from time to time....they are indeed human and we can all point to examples. That is all I am saying. They do a great job and no one expects them to be error free.

  4. So the only people that can grasp the rules of football are officials? Man, was I sure tricked by all the coaches over the years that taught us the game, including rules, techniques to avoid breaking the rules both on the field and at coaching seminars. I wonder if coaching legends like Dick Dullghan understand they don't get the rules of the game......that is only reserved by officials. 🙄

  5. I think it was bundled into the Baseball/Softball/Soccer facilities purchase, they just wanted to wait until those were finished to work on the football field.

  6. I was going to say something along the lines of this. I don't expect much more than usual unless certain changes are made. And replacing a weapon like Harris will be a much bigger challenge than some may think. I think their running game will be fine with McCool back as long as he stays healthy and their front 7 on defense should be really solid. The QB spot could be a wildcard as a new guy will step into the spotlight, so we will just have to see how he adjusts.

  7. So nobody in the MSM is going to even question the President or Former President Obama about the Billions they freely handed over to Iran? https://nypost.com/2024/01/28/opinion/president-joe-bidens-got-blood-on-hands-after-appeasing-iran-for-years/ President Biden has for three years obsessively pursued a dangerous and naive strategy toward Iran: Appeasement at any cost. Three American service members paid that cost in blood this weekend — their murders subsidized by the billions in sanctions relief Biden has provided Tehran and all but guaranteed by the president’s refusal to hold Iran accountable for nonstop attacks on US forces. The deadly assault on a US base near the Jordanian-Syrian border was the 159th Iran-directed attack on American forces in the Middle East since Oct. 17. Those attacks have included suicide drones, mortars, rockets and close-range ballistic missiles, leaving dozens of other Americans injured. One Christmas Day drone attack left a member of the 82nd Airborne in a coma with shrapnel stuck in his head. A US contractor died of a cardiac event during a drone attack two months prior. But these assaults didn’t start Oct. 17. US Central Command’s chief testified to Congress last year that Iran had directed 78 attacks on American forces in Iraq and Syria from January 2021 to March 2023. These attacks left two other contractors dead and many more Americans injured. Tehran never once paid a price for these strikes. Nor does it today. https://dailyprogress.com/opinion/column/wall-street-journal-biden-keeps-billions-flowing-to-iran/article_00d365a0-ad57-57dc-835d-17c508ebd2db.html The Iranian surge in oil exports since President Biden took over has brought Iran an additional $32 billion to $35 billion, according to the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. The calculations are tricky, but the cause of the Iranian windfall is clear: As part of Biden’s quiet diplomacy with Iran, the U.S. has curtailed sanctions enforcement. Customers and middlemen have concluded the risk is low and the discount on Iran’s oil is too good to pass up. https://www.newsweek.com/us-give-iran-150-billion-barack-obama-jack-posobiec-1835083 A post on X by Jack Posobiec, posted on October 16, 2023, referenced a Charlie Kirk tweet from September 11, 2015, which stated "Iran funds Hamas. Hamas kills Americans and Jews. Now we give Iran $150 billion. Where do you think that money will go? #IranDeal"

  8. He’s still got plenty to worry about. But I’m also puzzled that no one has snapped Vrabel up. He’s relatively young, and isn’t going to demand total control, unlike Belichik.

  9. Everyone knows your position, you don’t need to remind us every time someone makes a post in this thread, that’s kinda trolling.

  10. Agreed. Foligno has been solid. Glad to see they signed him to a new deal. Corey Perry was doing well too. I would have liked to see them hang on to him.

  12. More wasted taxpayer dollars. And increased serious injury opportunities for the children playing on such a surface (this is well documented, I will not get into another discussion concerning this proven point again.) All so somebody doesn't have to mow the grass, paint some lines, and sometimes wash muddy uniforms.
