  1. Enrollment is actually 1513. Not sure why North Side and Dwenger were switched. Maybe Dwenger voluntarily bumped up?
  2. I hope North Side rights the ship, they have a great fan base. There's talk of mega school powerhouse programs with great football teams and the fans barely show up. North Side is a small school of 1600 and they'll pack the house if you put a good product out there for them to see.
  3. I like this Leo team.
  4. But it's ok only at the high school level? What if the NCAA decided to use ping pong balls to decide the 12 team playoff? Is it ok if Michigan and Georgia drew each other in the first round? Temp liked your comment, but he'd be pissed if that happened. What about the NFL? I'm not sure why it's "no big deal" a the high school level.
  5. I didn't see it either, but it does seem perplexing. They seemed to have had the game in the bag at that point. Maybe they were being greedy and going for the jugular? Not sure what the relationship is between the two schools or if Brownsburg had any motive to run the score up. Win and move on.
  6. Do the Saints have any kind of chance in this one? Leo resembles a high caliber 5A program. Decent size and very good athletes. Impressive win, for the second time, over East Noble. I'll take the Lions by 14+.
  7. Can't say I watch a lot of basketball these days. The IHSAA has a history of not making a whole lot of sense to the educated fan.
  8. First and foremost, shame on the IHSAA for allowing a system to pit the two best teams in the state in the first round. Imagine if the NFL and NCAA announced that they are implementing a ping pong ball system. Sounds pretty absurd, right? I guess its only okay for a state like Indiana that's really not expected lead the way when it comes to football. But one things for certain............Indiana (IHSAA) will do it their way, no outside input allowed. And don't ask a coach for their opinion, all you're going to hear is "coach speak." Devastating for the coaches and players. From a fans point of view, watching your team, the best team in the state, totally dominate the second best team in the state for three quarters then watch it all fall apart. Football can be cruel. A big shout out to Brownsburg though. Kudos for putting together the best team in the state this year, I guess you can hang your hat on that.
  9. Lesson learned against Louisville.
  10. Warsaw would be a very dangerous team if they abandoned the punt all together.
  11. It was really 8-2, lol
  12. I take those numbers with a grain of salt, especially when it comes to Snider. Their computer ratings will always be affected since they call off the dogs earlier than most, and run when they shouldn't be passing when playing inferior opponents. But I'll say it again................Merrillville and Valpo are good, Mishawaka is dangerous. The 5A championship is up for grabs. I watched the Panthers lay an egg against Homestead and the forementioned teams are better.
  13. Unlike Valpo, Crown Point, and Ben Davis, Carroll didn't "put it back together." I was at the East Noble/Leo game checking scores on my phone, I was shocked at all the potential upsets in the making and the pasting that Brownsburg was delivering to Ben Davis.
  14. No idea. Maybe they thought Warsaw would be easy after last year's pasting of them? I don't know. All I know is that Carroll is a very good football team that is easily Top 15. They'd still beat some of the teams Temp has in front of them. Just my opinion. It's a tough offense to defend. Snider found themselves down 21-0 last year to Mishawaka. They adjusted. I'd think Carroll would be more prepared a second time around. These things happen I guess. Happy for Warsaw though, good win for their community.
  15. More Carmel residents will show up for the Notre Dame game in south bend to support a bunch of players they have zero ties with than those who showed up to support their local kids this Friday night. Sad if you ask me. Support your local high school.
  16. Lucky win by Ben Davis, those points shouldn't count.
  17. Agree, how quickly you can find yourself down 21-0.
  18. The north is still a crapshoot. It sounds like Valpo might be a little banged up, but when you return 19 starters from a state champion team, you're more than a one or two man show. Merrillville is quietly flying under the radar. Mishawaka will hurt you if you fall asleep against them. Sounds like the south is a crapshoot as well.

  20. Who's it going to be?
  21. Credit for creativity at least?
  22. That's Rodney's genius.
  23. Almost said no to the draft to focus on the Olympics.
  24. Never saw him play, my list was those I've seen in person on the field. Not sure I saw Hardy in person either. That's too bad, he had a million dollar NFL career written all over him.
