I believe the original poster was simply implying that he doubted the authenticity of the rumor.

tango
I think this is just an unfounded rumor because if we have, our coach wasn't aware of it when I talked to him after seeing these posts on my way back from the Colts game in Nashville yesterday afternoon. We do have a random screening policy that all students are subject to as a condition of enrollment and the first random tests of the 2019-2020 school year were Friday. As background, my sophomore son was selected last year in the spring and the email we received notifying us that our son was randomly selected also said it would take 2 weeks before we were notified of the results. My recollection is that it didn't take that long, but it was a week or so before we learned the results were negative. I believe Mater Dei has the same policy. I'm curious though, do any other SIAC schools have a similar random screening policy?
tango
I'll take... North, Central, Reitz and Memorial. I expect the North / MD game to be the best game of the week in the SIAC.

Screagle
even though these are done randomly with confidentiality the code of conduct applies. Nicotine is included in the test. I believe the 1st offense is sitting 20% of the season (which I'm not sure how they calculate when it applies to other extra-curricular activities). I can't remember if 2nd offense is 1 year or 1 season. 3rd offense is death by honey and fire ants. The policy is stupid because it is not applied consistently across all schools in the conference. Plus, kid who does nothing at at school can't be punished because there is nothing to take away.

Screagle
North vs MD. Team with better night vision wins. Going from midfield towards the locker rooms is like playing sandlot after dark.

TigerFan20
Final Scores 24-14 Memorial over Bosse 45-27, Mater Dei over North 49-6, Reitz over Harrison 38-7, Central over Castle Any thoughts of the games? Memorial struggled offensively the whole night against Bosse, but Bosse did fight one hell of a game. 2 tough games for Memorial coming up the next 2 weeks, at Reitz and playing Central home. Evansville50
Able to watch Memorial the last two weeks. Well coached club, but they just don’t have the horses this year. Central will win by 14 plus. North RB might be the most explosive player in city. Bosse should take applications for a new offensive line coach. How is Harrison so incompetent? Large student body, athletes, no excuse for what they have become. Considering what they were under Coach Marsh. Just a down year over all in the SIAC. Maybe MD, and Gipson Southern can make a run. Evansville50
Central’s is relatively close Memorial and MD are around half. They compete almost every year at the top. I don’t know exact numbers, I’m sure you will let me know since you are the grammar/ typo police. No excuse for Harrison to be this bad year after year.
