I doubt Muda's wife knows anything about drones and end zone cameras.

It's all about drones in this day and age my friend. I'm afraid endzone cameras are going the way of the terror skink.

While I clung loyally to my HI-POD X31, football technology moved steadily down the tracks like a midnight train. To quote a GID legend, "the game has passed me by".

Hopefully Muda's wife can guide me through this challenging time.

Muda can I get your wife's phone number? I need some advice on a few situations.

No, sorry.

Ok, well can you just ask her if she thinks I'm abandoning ship too early by switching from endzone cameras to drones? Does she think there's any reason to cling to my listing endzone camera?

Does she have any idea what will come along next and replace drones as the premier method of filming the childrens' game of high school football? I'd like to get ahead of the curve on this. Please?

No.

Not really. Maybe sentimental value?

Drones will probably be around for a long time for recording games from a certain distance.  The next big thing will be either be small cameras on the player's helmets and referee's hats or ocular implants with recording capability.

Tell her I said thank you for taking the time to help me out. I feel slightly less anxious about the future of filming football games now.

While I've got you here, how would you like to get in on the ground floor of an emerging new technology that would allow high schools to use satellites to film their football games? For a small investment, you can become a part of the future....a very lucrative future at that.

I will let her know.

And no thanks Elon. Not interested.

Shocked that man would even have a wife. Poor thing must be miserable.

I wonder if people ever use a "message board personality" as a character of sorts, to work through the trials and tribulations of daily life?

Maybe their message board personality is cranky so that they are not hard to deal with in real life.

I could imagine a scenario where a person might post on a message board to make jokes or tell goofy stories that are only meant for self-amusement. Stuff that if they did it in their daily life would make people think that they might have a screw loose.

Interesting to think about

Hey I've got no problem with Muda. I don't agree with probably 99% of what they guy thinks or says, but he donates to the GID and brings a lot of interesting topics to this place. If there's one thing I've learned in my short time being here, it's just let him have his say and walk away from the keyboard. No need to talk about anyone's wife. We're just here to argue and talk about the game we all love to play, coach, watch, or any combination of those things.

Happily married for 30+ years now.  We just had a fantastic long weekend away from the house, staying at an Inn.

Keep this thread going....he can't resist commenting on Facebook.

I will admit I stand corrected, the net profit is enough to buy a burrito and a Coke every Saturday for nearly a fiscal year.

So you are their media handler.  And with what qualifications/credentials do you deem yourself worthy of that position?  Long time member of the GID?

He's overqualified. Really. No joke.

On August 1, 2023, I received an unsolicited email from DT saying:
---
"Hoosier Prep Gridiron is FOR SALE.

We are looking for someone to take over the website and continue the work of promoting Indiana high school football, it's programs, coaches and student athletes.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in taking over the site, now is a great time as the season is just getting started.

It's been our pleasure to promote your programs.  Any help you can provide in identifying a new site operator would be greatly appreciated.

Refer all interested parties to :

Best of luck to you and your teams in 2023.

The cost of a Coke and a burrito changed?

Lord, I apologize for that there.
