temptation Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 (edited) In the past, some users have tossed around the idea of a tournament pick ‘em contest but it seemed to fizzle as its tough to keep up with. The Temp has an alternative idea, akin to an NFL/college “eliminator” contest. Here is how it works: 1. Pick a team weekly from EACH class who you expect to advance in the tournament. 2. If your team wins, you will receive the amount of points equal to their Sagarin ranking heading into the contest. (Translation: You are looking for a team with a lower ranking to maximize points.) 3. Once you use a team, you cannot use them again for the remainder of the tournament. 4. If your team loses, you will no longer be able to pick a team IN THAT CLASS for the remainder of the tournament. (Translation: You get 6 chances to be wrong.) 5. Points/standings will be added up on a weekly basis and posted to this thread. 6. Please indicate the team’s class and Sagarin rating to your picks in this post. 7. Picks are due by 3pm each FRIDAY afternoon! Happy picking! Edited October 21, 2025 by temptation 1 2 Quote
