Muda69 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Here are the Indiana High School football squads that finished winless in 2025, and their current losing streak: Portage - 11 Fort Wayne Wayne - 11 Mt. Vernon (Fortville) - 12 Terre Haute North - 13 New Albany - 16 Bellmont - 42 Prairie Heights - 11 Hammond Central - 12 Evansville Bosse - 21 Blackford - 16 West Vigo - 11 North Vermillion - 11 Frankfort - 29 South Central (Union Mills) - 11 Pike Central - 13 Benton Central - 21 Perry Central - 11 Christal House - 12 Cambridge City Lincoln - 18 Of these moribund programs who have the best change of "turning it around" and having at least a .500 season in 2026? tango Posted August 5 Posted August 5 It kinda shocks me that Mt. Vernon Fortville has fallen so far, but with Coach Kirschner back I expect they will recover. Quote

Frozen Tundra Posted August 5 Posted August 5 New Albany had their first ever winless season last year. Quote
superjay Posted Friday at 05:28 PM Posted Friday at 05:28 PM North Vermillion will get some wins this year. New head coach Nate Crum and Payton Hendershot brothers Bryce & Austin Hendershot now on staff. Should be a much better year. Quote
Lemmy Posted Friday at 05:59 PM Posted Friday at 05:59 PM They would be wise to schedule each other wherever possible. Guaranteed way to remove some from the board. Quote
WWFan Posted Friday at 10:46 PM Posted Friday at 10:46 PM Said it last year...never thought id see the day Perry Central appeared in any sort of winless list. Hopefully the pull one out this season Quote

Some rough years to say the least. I think Coach Blaker will turn them around and end the streak. Have solid numbers out this season. Quote

Doesn't make any sense..... The wrestlers have to be on the field. When they have been like 2008 & 2009 they are successful. Not blaming anyone for them not being on the field but definitely seems to be a correlation. Last year they had more but were young (Freshmen) in some skill spots. I won't say anything about the other factor that isn't wrestling related that I believe was an issue. Quote
