This site is averaging over 100 views for every response. I think Tim Adams goal was to have active participation rather than a bunch of viewer who provide zero content. A subscription of $5.99 per month would keep the viewers, but now they are members and might even use their keyboards to provide something rather than freeload.

I really doubt anybody would pay 6$ a month for the privilege to look at the takes on here. I don't really see the harm in lurking, also ads exist.

Agreed.  And I find the ad system here on the GID especially obnoxious. It's well worth the $ I give every year to get rid of them.

Your cut is gonna be $.02, I guess we have to round up to $.05 since there's no such thing as 2 cents anymore. And don't take any wooden nickels.

we had a tech issue last year that caused issues on getting folks to be able to sign up:    @DK_Barons fixed it over the off season.....

I will say, we seem to have a little more “sophisticated” group here. The FB groups seem to be this year’s dads, who’s background obviously don’t include sports of any kind.

6A needs Penn to be "back". Carroll, Crown Point and Merrillville are good, but the North needs a fourth team. I still have hopes for Homestead, but this is a make or break year for me. If they're average again, it will be hard to take them serious moving forward.
