Lawrenceburg has some nice facilities, especially the new basketball arena. Did the casino help fund those?

You in the Cincinnati this weekend? Munster to Lawrenceburg is quite the hike.

Did the round trip. And you’re right. That’s quite a hike. Had a nice time. That’s a very nice facility they have there.

I'm only making this last post...

First, I didn't say L'burg would have won.

What I did say...

1) Sorry, it didn't play out full strength. HH never really stopped the Tigers in the first half, turnovers hurt. I expect Tigers would have continued to move the ball in the second half. What would have happened?

2) L'burg looked better in the first half sans the turnovers. Really don't know how you objectively argue with this.

3) There was a bad call that changed the complexion of the game, due to the nature of the call and position on the field. I wasn't bashing the officials and it wasn't the primary point of the post. (I said it was "adding insult to (future) injury.") I also said it happens, but that doesn't change the fact it did.

The primary point was that I was sorry it didn't play out full strength. Too bad Patriots fans can't acknowledge that fact might have changed things due to the importance of the QB in L'burgs system and the kind of year the young man had. (Not to mention the Tigers success moving the ball in the first half.)

Maybe next year.  Until then ZIP IT LIP!

I was at the game tonight, on the sideline, and have personal knowledge concerning the “bad” call on the L-Burg pass that was called out of bounds. Discussed it with the crew after the game. Here’s the skinny:

  1. it was, in fact, the wrong call. The receiver did have the ball with a foot in bounds. But ...
  2. The right call wouldn’t have helped the Tigers, because the receiver stepped on the sideline while running his route, just before the catch. The correct call should have been a foul on L-Burg for illegal participation. A 15 yd. penalty from the previous spot and replay the down.

Make of that what you will.

EM is at Enlow and you have way too many HH threads.

It's been fixed and Mr Paladin will spend some time in the hole.

As per the game. Heritage Hills sounded like the more physical and better conditioned team. 8-9 in the box and HH picked up more YPC as the game went on. Great HH line play

Why are Lawrenceburg'special teams so bad? OOB kickoffs, no punting, no punt receiving and they allow a 2 pt conversion on a botched HH snap?

Hope the QB is OK. Sounds like he still has a few years left and could be a major threat if he puts some weight on.

And finally the Danville-HH game that Chatard had blocked for so many years. It'll be great to see two tradition rich public HSs square off. HH had a few things to clean up like holding and ineligibles down field which will get you beat from here on. Celebrate and rest today. Will be interesting to see if the game is Saturday or Friday given that the 3A state finals are on Friday.

Patriot Pride.

Didn't notice the smell, only heard the Tiger roar once and after game was started didn't notice the traffic on US 50, Plus HH had so many fans I could hardly hear the Burg fans on other side of field.

Nice venue and the PA announcer  was one of the very few I noticed that didn't cheerlead, Almost all you can hear a little more excitement in their voice when the home team has a big play but not last night..It seemed like a home game just 180 miles away.

My final thoughts on the game...

1. Hope the Yoon kid (QB) is ok.  Hate to see kids get hurt.  That said, the kid is for real and much better than I anticipated.  Bright future for the next two years!

2.  Cool Stadium, cool atmosphere for high school football, cool tailgate area behind the east end zone.

3. Didn't interact with any fans, but the L'burg folks in the box were friendly and passionate about their team and gracious in defeat.

4. No stink.  Maybe that's worse when it's hot & humid?  Did smell the mash a little on the way out of town. I was starving and it actually kinda smelled good!

5.  @BobRef, good to meet you and finally put a face with the name!  You told me before the game you thought the crew was a very good crew.  And I could not argue. The type of crew you want calling games deep in the post-season.  Sure, they missed the one call discussed above that, turns out, likely didn't cost L'burg points.  They're human.  They'll beat themselves up about it.  We can all move on.

Well, that’s not nice 🤪

He was drunk.  He must have finally passed out around 4:00 AM this morning....or his minders finally caught him wondering the halls in the dementia wing.

The admins deleted about 80% of the inane, profane lunacy he spewed about  Lawrenceburg, Columbus East,  “Catlicks” and all the “sons a b#tches” (My edit)from East Indiana by around 5:00 AM.

While I was sitting in an emergency room, talking with nurses and Docs all day and all night with a elderly parent yesterday until about 9:00 AM this morning, it provided some entertainment.

I’m assuming the nurses have him back on his meds at the home - hopefully taking his phone and computer until Christmas.

Haha I was going to say, I think Columbus East has done just fine 🙂. Playing 2 Classes up because of that darn success factor 🙂. Plus I was all argued out after FWFootball and I went on for about 2.5 hours yesterday 😂

Stinky, Stink, Stink 1.2.3

Heritage Hills has a good team!

It was a good game till we lost our QB

but no excuses here, I still got to drink!

A few quick observations STC did see.........

1) Heritage travelled very well. Knew they would and knew their crowd would be into the game. Glad Stink Town brought in some more stands

2) Very physical & fast - would fit well in the EIAC!

3) Looking at Hills roster, looks like a major overhaul next year?

4) Stink did get to ask my buddy about those special teams. It was simply put, "ask Gibson Southern why you don't kick to them?"

5) Stink will drink the Kool-Aid and be on the Heritage train.....I just wonder if I can entertain those Danville fans as much as Stink did in 2016....I think so!

Speaking of BLs, I have to give StinkTownClown a plug.  Our group took STC's recommendation on places to eat.  We arrived early and checked out Strong's Pizzeria.  We were very pleased with the service, food, and cold BLs.  That is a pretty cool area where Strong's is located.  It is also very easy to get to the field afterward from there.  It was our fist trip to StinkTown.  Overall, we had a great experience.  The "W" for the Patriots made that much more enjoyable!  Hopefully, the Yoon injury isn't too serious.  He will cause serious damage to teams in the time he has left.
