Keep in mind HH is 2 plays away from being 5-0 and the most points they have given up is 20.  If anyone thinks this is a slam dunk for GS....think again.

Also playing in The Jungle.  Much more difficult than at The Jewell

Stop.  Just stop.  You guys are killing me.

I know some HH faithful might not be happy about where they stand this season with W-L so far.  But what I said is true.....two plays go differently and suddenly this game and HH ratings look totally different to the prognosticators.

Yeah I’m with 32

you guys may not like where you’re at but like…I still view HH as a must win and a very tough opponent. Would be idiotic to overlook HH in any way.

From an HH perspective - I get the Boonville loss...they are pretty tough.

What in the world happened in the NP-HH game?? That one raised an eyebrow...

Maybe it was just one of those nights.

I know they were leading it in the 4th Qtr.

just couldn’t put them away and the game went to OT….and then a 2nd OT.

more the reason to think HH is going to be hungry in this game.  They are coming off a loss that probably left a lot of them very sour and they are definitely going to try and get redemption/make a statement against GS.

what I’m confused about is why @hhpatriot04put GS as 27.5 favorites.  I jokingly said I only wanted GS on that line if Boyd was playing but I would still take that line just because it’s HH and it’s a big rivalry game….so like I’m always looking to take an extra victory lap

wouldn’t be surprised one bit if GS has everyone fully healthy and it’s still a game that comes down to the wire.

South Warren was a nice W but like I said a few weeks ago…GS is going to measure themselves by how they do against HH and that’s still the case

Indeed....if we are going to turn it on, now is definitely the time.  Looking forward to it.

If the only thing you know about the Vikings is what happened the night we played Southridge I completely understand this thought. The young Vikings got punched in the mouth by a veteran Raider team and didn’t respond how we’d like, fortunately that game doesn’t define us. We are banged up and have some tough games ahead (starting with Tecumseh) but still have a lot of talent and will continue to improve. Half our starters aren’t eligible for their drivers license yet, these young men have a lot to learn about winning. Good group of kids that took a big step last week and had a little luck too.

Luck?  Nah, y'all played well.  On both sides.  Congrats on a great win.  Tough fought game.

How about the double punt play?

Yeah, I'm not sure about all that....lol, super athletic play and talk about staying cool.

I'm not a high school football rules expert, but can you do that how that went down.  High school has some weird rules.

My understanding is that a punt was blocked, picked up by a Team K player behind the neutral zone, and he punted it again. Actually, you can do that at any level of football. It’s not a “weird” high school rule.

If you say so. Believe we start 3 seniors on offense (one because of an injury), and 5 on defense??

Granted- I get your point - it's better than having 2 on the entire roster.

I figured it was just an off night as such and NP was better than they showed.

I see what ya did there... lol

You guys have a poorly officiated game lately?  Couldn't have been any worse than our game at Boonville.  I had never seen anything like that.

By the way I'm not blaming the loss on that...it was bad all over.

Anyway moving forward....looking forward to hosting y'all tonight!

Historically (and not every time) we have had some bad luck in Spencer county at all levels with officiating.

I'm always excited for a game at The Jungle!  And we finally have some football weather... double bonus!!

Hope everyone stays healthy on both sides and looking forward to a battle.  Good luck this evening!

I was at The Jungle a couple years ago. Very nice facility, and really nice, capable people. Great atmosphere. The casino across the street doesn’t hurt … 😉

Are you thinking of Lawrenceburg?  I think they call their field The jungle(?), and there is a casino nearby.

Evidently. All I know is it was The Jungle, and it was a heck of a drive from NWI.
