Luers doing their best to keep this game interesting

100% agree. They should absolutely throttle this team, but this is not your typical juggernaut Luers team.

I expect them to run away with it in the third

NP seems slow

Very slow, the kickoff return Luers had was pretty definitive of the speed difference

I don't get to watch Luers often. Do their typical juggernaut teams not make it to the state finals? I see they've only been one other time this decade.

Been a short decade… Look at their history

I did. The past 10 years, they've been once in 2020. I know they have a successful history. Wasn't sure how far back you were going with your juggernaut comparisons.

It ain't hard to remember what a luers juggernaut team looks like

They showed footage of it on the jumbotron earlier and they looked like a damn college team

They are an imposing 2A team.  Let's not get ahead of ourselves with the superlatives.

Absolutely, there were some really good teams during that stretch.

2009-2012 if memory serves me correctly, they won 4 state titles in a row with Jaylon Smith, future NFL player. They have had a few NFL players in that locker room

There is a witch on the field I repeat

There is a witch on the field

That was the single worst call I have ever seen in a championship game

From someone 20 yards behind the play

Rodney, you are going to get BobRef all excited now. It is only 1pm and you are on your 2nd 12 pack. Long day to go…

This game has been officiated wonderfully, IMO!

As some others have said, NP looks slow and unathletic. Bases on what I've seen today, both 1A teams would've beat them 3+ scores.

I highly doubt it.

I will say this:

1A was not good outside of Lutheran and Adams Central

2A is abysmal compared to any previous year you can think of

3A It was Chatard and nobody else

4A East Central, then a drop off to East Noble, Leo, and Northwood, nothing after that

5A Snider, Mishawaka, Valparaiso were the class of this division

6A Ben Davis, Brownsburg, Center Grove at the top then Crown Point, HSE, Westfield, and Penn
