Its weeks like this last one that make you question how good Warren Central really is. Beat Center Grove and then play a close one with North Central? -

2 of them are on the team roster at Depauw Coach Sanders & Kevin Allen is hated because he has won some games in the last 2 years and RP isn't taking crap from anyone. Now everyone is mad.... Do Better. I can only assume Matt King isn't sitting at home trolling folks about his daddy not being able to win games anymore...but I could be wrong. He would only take over the current place his dad is at... but if not... I say Covington...why are they not better? Man I tell you what.. Kevin Allen is getting RP rollin and I love it. HE is using what he has to make that a better place! It is working.... if you build they will come or whatever they said in Field of Dreams. -

Kelby will be the best qb in the WRC next year. IF THEY CHANGE THEIR OFFENSE. I know you can agree with that Billy. Looks to me like Brad may be getting some hate but that's what happens when you win. What if the prince is Herb?? 😂 I did not know Matt King was the OC at Marian. That's pretty awesome. Don't know if there are any previous WRC players coaching at the college level? Is Kevin Allen the reason RP has got all the new stuff for the football field? New scoreboard, covered bridge, field goals post and lights (i think?) I also saw they got one of those robots that paints the field. He must be rich -
Yeah, was a little surprised he didn't get the job out of the gate. Looks like he is doing what he can to change that.

Seeing Ozzy listed as LT #2 along with Ben's comments regarding his recovery gives me hope he'll be back much sooner than anticipated. I'm not looking forward to watching Jones at LT on Sunday.

There are 2 on the team at Depauw (Anthony & Dom)... Is there another one? The Prince lives in a fantasy world... -
Odd situation. Now he's left Halas Hall and is rehabbing with his personal trainer. Seems like a last ditch effort for him. Ian Rapoport's update yesterday alludes to Gordon being back with the Bears in a few weeks. I guess we'll see. He's not eligible to play until Week 5, so he has plenty of time to heal and be ready.

Point spreads seems like a nice method for a pick'em. Like the SW conference is doing in their thread. I like that a lot. I'd participate, if that were the case.

This is my issue as well. Hard to trust the process when nobody can even see the clock that is considered official. Good for them! I'm really surprised they decided to bite the hand that feeds them.

Thursday without a thread... sad How the mighty have fallen. Batesville at Rushville, 7 pm Franklin County at East Central, 7:30 pm Greensburg at Lawrenceburg, 7 pm Shenandoah at Connersville, 7 pm South Dearborn at Richmond, 7 pm

His dad played golf with a guy here at work and he said that was the first pick 6 he has thrown EVER, in his career. In 4 years of high school, I'm not sure he had 10 INTs in 4 years and the dude would sling it 40 times a game. After throwing that INT, he came back to throw a 40+ yard TD pass and another deep ball for a completion. I'm a fan of him and I'm rooting for him--he should get the spot.

https://www.indystar.com/story/opinion/columnists/james-briggs/2026/09/10/ips-referendum-no-vote-wont-help/91664189007/ What most people don't understand is that a labor union, by it's very nature, has it's members as the #1 priority. Not children/students, not patients, not widgets, etc. So never believe the propaganda being spewed by the the ISTA/NEA that it really cares about students, and education. It cares about the money, and how much of that money goes into their member's pockets and the union's coffers. All was well and good when IPS had a virtual monopoly on the education business in Marion county, but not now when they actually have some competition in the education market.

I will bite, I haven't commented for awhile. My thoughts..... 1. WRC is atrocious right now. 2. It could possibly be a pattern, happened against SV a few years ago and took out Shew on a kickoff, who was the best player in the conference. They do things a little different by the river, can't go to mecca or Montezuma after dark. Huge drop off after this year. They need to get theirs now. Few PH junior high players post online they are transferring to RP, see ya. Panther's are supposed to be better this year than they were last year, how do their numbers compare? Did Collett Sanders really call majority of his own plays? Current QB is a player, but they do not seem as crisp as last year, esp offensively, Collett probably more valuable managing the offense than we understood. I do not think they are as strong up front as what they were last year, but 2 of their 5 are legit. They look good on film and in person. 3. Not sure Kelby is the best QB in the conference as a freshman, but his upside, arm strength and athletic ability is the closest thing the conference has seen to a Christian Johnson since he transferred to Alabama, hell he may not play football if his junior high coaches keep playing him at WR and having him split reps at quarterback. He could be a D1 quarterback before he is a D1 basketball player, just like C. Johnson. Rising tide raises all ships, or something like that. 4. Wolves are opening up the field and having some success in the air, its been nice to see on film, could be pretty good in 2 years I believe. 5. Cronk will have Seeger at the top of the WRC next year with the possibility of the Wolves following pretty close. 6. Sad to see the death of Jade Larson, her son plays TE and LB at South Vermillion, she helped me start our youth football here when the current juniors were in 2nd grade, go ROX! I do have a few questions: ---Is Garzolini playing anywhere or is he graduated? ---What coach do we hate this year? ---Do you guys really think the Prince is someone in the king family? ---Matt King should leave his OC at Marian and come back and coach in the WRC, what school? ---Is kevin allen still the richest guy on this forum? -

Lewis Cass over Manchester 30-14. Cass bounces back after a focused week of practice Maconaquah over Whitko. Game will be close early…but only because it starts tied. I’ll see myself out ha Battle for supreme Tigers.. Game of the week in the conference to me. Peru has to defend a good assault from the skies for the first time this season. Peru has played an overall tougher schedule so far. I’ll go 28-20 Purple over Bengal. But I’m not sold it. Rochester over Clinton Prairie 34-18. Guessing a bit here Northfield over Southwood 28-14. Seems the rivalry the last 20 years has had respectable scores even when there’s a sizable talent difference. With the exception of a handful of course -

Any info or analysis on his current situation? I noticed he got in for mop up time against Purdue. It was disappointing to see he is not the starting QB.

Welp the time you all been waiting for. Even all those readers who don't make profiles and join the convo! Time for my picks Crawford County @ South Decatur- I still can't believe Crawford got beat by Brown County the way they did. Ive said it a ton...I wish every PLAC team would be good. Would only help come tourny time. Unfortunately it might be an 0-10 season for the pack Mitchell @ Eastern Greene- Both teams are rebuilding. In the Southwest threat Mitchell was getting 32 pts! Not sure this is a blowout....but ill take the birds at home. Perry Central @ Paoli- PC ended its losing streak last week which was good to see. Paoli looked decent for about 1.5 Quarters against Valley last week. Not sure PC is ready to win this game. Paoli gets back on track after losing Orange Bowl for 2nd straight season. West Washington @ Springs Valley- This is basically the PLAC title match after the Blackhawks put it to Paoli. Shocked at amount of people picking the Senators in this one. Dont think the Run game is good enough and Valley is gonna run 4 dudes all night against em. WW gave up 37 to TC and i think Valley has a better O. WW may be better but not sure they are ready to win. Brownstown @ Salem- luckily for me I don't have to fall into the Salem trap this week. Brownstown JV may get Varsity time every game till....Semi St? Braves by whatever they want Corydon @ Scottsburg- Harrison County is struggling in football this season. I cant pick either one for possibly rest of the season. North Harrison @ Charlestown- See above? Kind of the same....only this one may get ugly. Silver Creek @ Madison- Closest game of the week? Might be. 2 things keep costing me. Believing in Salem....doubting Madison. Brownstown helped me this week. But I'm going against the cubs again! Why? I dunno.
