I dunno. Going independent has allowed them to schedule easier/closer to their size instead of the MSC meat grinder. That seems to be their biggest help last few years. 6-9 last 2 years against non MSC schools 2-5 vs current. Still play Charlestown, Scottsburg, North Harrison. They did have 39 listed on last year's roster (11 seniors I believe). So they seem to be in better shape then alot of struggling schools. Hopefully the next coach can continue to build.

In Morgantown (between Indian Creek and Martinsville), the Green Hill is reopened and has a good tenderloin. They make their own potato chips, also.

I heard that in 2028 there is gonna be a weekend extravaganza between the MIC and HCC. Here are the marquee Matchups: Carmel (MIC) vs CG (HCC South) - 1st regular season Copper Kettle game since 2022 BD (MIC) vs Noblesville (HCC North) - Inaugural game for the Giant Wooden Jason Simmons Decatur Central (MIC) vs Zionsville (HCC North) - The Dirty Bird Tech (MIC) vs Cathedral (HCC South) - If Cathedral wins they play all home games at Tech in 2029 😁 All of this was supposed to be in purple....

I wasn't raised in a household under a privileged union umbrella of artificially high wages, Cadillac insurance plans and pensions, but I'm opposed to taxpayer money being used on a soccer stadium also. Indy just isn't going to support soccer enough to get any return on this investment.

I'm hoping to get an alpaca fighting ring in indy sometime soon. It will drastically increase my quality of life. and I think everyone elses' as well.

Thanks for sharing your story. What you've been through will make you appreciate your successes even more. Congrats for digging out. My parents were the ones who dug out and I got to benefit from their efforts. My daughter is a nurse practitioner and my son-in-law is fluid in multiple languages and has his MBA and a great career at Lilly. He was raised in LA and they have both expressed an interest in moving there. With their resumes they would have no problem finding great careers out there. Their biggest complaint is the lack of entertainment in Indy. They are exactly the types of people we want/need to stay in our communities and a development like this -- if done properly -- would go a long way to keeping them interested. I've also been involved with enough commercial real estate developments to recognize that there are two types of communities, those that subsidize development and those that get left behind. Public Private Partnerships are all the rage as are tax abatements. When you know how they really work it is funny/frustrating to listen to others complain about them. This is potentially a great move for downtown but I don't know the players involved and I think Indy's mayor is pathetic. Hope they pull it off.

I will type slowly so maybe my point can be understood. Economic development= good. Publicly financed sports stadiums = bad economic policy I can see why apartments, retail/office space, and parking garages provide the perfect Trojan Horse to sneak in a bad idea like a stadium.

I agree, the coach definitely should receive some form of punishment. He could've easily escalated this to Malace at the Palace 2.0

Lemme first start by saying I’m not a huge fan of court storming. It’s not a mountain or hill I’m willing to die on but it’s a slippery slope when you mix fans, players and coaches. That being said, this looks calculated. Osborn has the wherewithal to guide his players and keep them out of harms way yet then charges right through the crowd students immediately thereafter. It’s almost like he was looking for trouble. Both parties share some of the blame but we should hold a leader of young people/adult to a higher standard. Just my opinion… (Oh, and one more…) This decision comes across as weak as hell from Carmel.
