  1. Tough week what with all the game cancellations, postponements, and early-calls due to the weather on Friday night. 2. Jennings County already tried leaving the HHC about three years ago but didn’t want to leave to go independent. They wanted to go to the EIAC but the EIAC wasn’t interested. So since there were no other options, they decided to remain in the HHC…for now.

  3. Sports Michiana does a great job covering the area as does Region sports nation. Jim Peters does a wonderful job of covering the LaPorte county schools.

  4. That play that Paoli JV took the lead back to go up 20-12 was wild! Corydon had drove down the field chunking out yards with the FB then on what, the 5 yard line he took a shot fumble it, another Corydon kid picked it up and tried scoring and took a shot and fumbled it, then the Paoli kid scooped it and score from like 98 yards out. All this under 2 to play? Wild!!

  5. Mudas has a special ability where he can look at a score and know exactly what happened in every blowout.

  6. While the loss of Madison has opened up options, it’s also created some issues.

  7. That dang safety cost us! We missed all the XPs but 1 to try and stay off here. 😂

  8. It’s not that deep dude. No need to be that upset over the 10th spot in a Week 2 poll lol. Sorry your Week 1 4 point win at home over a Terre Haute school didn’t blow my socks off

  9. I had thought about them too, Triton Central would be a good option currently. Idc if they're 1000K students or not, Batesville is a good program. Mooresville, Martinsville. I agree with Coach Hess that they're in a tough spot to find games. It's 100% way more difficult than us just posting about it on GID.

  13. I would think one of the CCC or EIAC schools would have an opening since they don’t play have a ton of conference games or guarantee games. Maybe Chatard, Roncalli, Lawrenceburg, or East Central could open up a spot for them. Or, like you said, other teams in Kentucky that aren’t powerhouse Louisville private schools.

  14. no outrage, I asked a question for point of conversation show me where I reacted outraged, maybe someone else in the ole Saga here mentioned that Jim probably didn't even know this guy narrative ive seen in these threads. I am glad that College Football get on level of tech and can just radio in plays to QBs now until 15 sec on clock.

  15. A big game like New Pal/Decatur Central was called after it was 21-all at the half. Both teams are in the same general area, so why couldn't they have played that game out today instead just calling it a no contest? I was kind of looking forward to see how they game was going to turn out.

  16. A big thank you to all the referees and stadium workers who took time out of their Saturday to come back and help finish up the games that were postponed last night. You are the best!

  17. Paoli wins 49-24 over corydon… this heat sucks but that’s part of football in August … Corydon qb threw for like 368,000 yards and three touchdowns.

  18. How many on here are old enough that they actually saw him play? I did. He was arguably the best player in the league at his position for several years. The first great shooter I can remember seeing. If the NBA had a 3 pt. line when he played, he’d probably be the all time career points leader.

  20. Some of you may have known James, a B1G replay official who had a long and distinguished career officiating high school football in Indiana. A great friend and a mentor to many, many officials. He passed away unexpectedly yesterday just before the Michigan game he was supposed to work. Fair winds and following seas, James.

  21. Indiana legendary official: James Robinson passed away today of a heart attack at UM. He was getting into the van, and had an infarction. Was unable to be revived. May you please give your prayers 🙏 and condolences to his family, as well as the family of officials who have been touched/taught and guided by his leadership.
