  1. Well, they got the decision right from a character standpoint at least. No more Johnny Football's.

  2. I'm driving a 2017 Dodge Ram. I'm not sure why you even brought Jeremiyah Love into this conversation. It's an IU thread. Must criticism of Notre Dame permeate EVERY thread on the GID? I miss the days when there wasn't so much negativity in general toward athletes discussed on this site.

  3. Tough ending for Army. Thought they had the upset. Congrats Navy winning the CIC. Way more important than any bowl game. Special tradition!!

  7. It was good to see Jeremiyah Love get the Doak Walker for best RB, and the Disney award for citizenship. He's quite an impressive young man!

  10. So, you hate Michigan, too? Do you root for anyone? Or are you just a perpetual “anti?”

  11. As much as I dislike NIL, Indiana has one of the deepest pockets in the country. Everyone better get ready to see IU at or around the top of college football for awhile

  12. Ohio State 30% Notre Dame 30% (had they not got screwed by ESPN) Indiana 20% (injury bug, otherwise 30%) Georgia 20% Rest of the field 0% Notre Dame was a 5.5 point favorite. Case closed.

  13. Way too defensive. You complimented IU on their purchase. I simply returned the compliment about ND doing same with Love and noticed both team have a similar approach to total NIL football investment in 2025. Nothing negative from my end. I’m going to assume you were sincere with your original post about a good purchase.

  14. It’s too bad Harrison and McCutcheon are so far from the rest of the Hoosier Heritage Conference schools Lebanon is joining. They would be a pretty good fit in terms of their level of competition. Even though Yorktown is quite a bit smaller, they play above their enrollment in most sports. Very similar to West Lafayette. If the schools were not so far apart, a 12 team, 2 division conference like this could be interesting. Division 1 Harrison (West Lafayette) 2193 McCutcheon 1835 Pendleton Heights 1502 Mount Vernon (Fortville) 1470 Greenfield-Central 1413 New Palestine 1246 Division 2 Lebanon 1067 Danville 848 Yorktown 836 Western 799 West Lafayette 752 Hamilton Heights 709

  15. I think the program and athletic department accept the risk, as they accepted the financial penalty I’ve been describing. I think the team was upset with how the process played out because the committee booted it from the start by putting and keeping Notre Dame and Miami in the wrong order until a week in which neither team played. The players made the wrong decision to skip the bowl game, and the staff made the wrong decision to support them or to go along with it.

  16. If you compare him to QB’s. Where was his ranking for RB’s? Credit ND…great return for their investment. When one researches NIL football budgets for ND and IU, shows very similar.

  18. I was looking like last year’s game. Last year Army was the favorite and Navy put it to them. This year Navy was the favorite and Army had them.

  20. I have three if you must know. One is upstairs making the bed, one is in the kitchen making lunch, and one is giving me a foot massage. But I do love them all the same, so that's an unfair question.

  21. 25-10 on the road? That's all you have? It was widely accepted that the Irish didn't play their best that day. I'd call that impressive.

  23. I don't disagree with the Georgia QB situation, but still think ND wins a close game last year if Beck were the QB . But do you see how you use these things to fit your narrative ? You will say that Georgia lost because of a Rookie QB , but you won't agree that Notre dame lost this year to Miami/A&M with a Rookie QB making his first college starts . And that ND really laid it on Georgie , where as they barely lost to Miami/A&m .
