  2. Let's not sleep on North Posey. Their SOS is bad but they could be one of the better teams in the area, especially offensively.

  4. That should be the end of the BC posts for the season

  6. I like your Homestead positioning. North Side gets a bad rap, but I like their upside. If these kids amp it up for Jaylon Smith and play for Ben Johnson's honor, they could be a tough out...........even in the sectional they are in. Jaylon Smith has that likability, similar to Marcus Freeman. Could be interesting.

  7. For what it's worth I fully expect Carroll to crush Homestead twice this season. Once in the regular season and once in the tournament.

  8. Saw Fairfield run a split back offense. Run the ball. Control clock. Move the chains. Score. Really enjoyed it. Also a very big fan of @Coach Nowlin and the Bombers offense.

  10. Yeah which is crazy because Snider has a historically strong program and they have a really good coach with a track record of success there.

  11. I ran a script that looked at all games played since 1999. Sagarin ratings have successfully predicted the winner in 88.38% of games.

  12. Congrats. You have had a coach that knows how to do his job since 1993. Corydon keeps hanging onto guys who can’t figure out how to film the games let alone the rest of it.

  13. Best I could do. I know there's a silver line in the middle of the thin red stripe on the crown of the helmet, but AI wasn't cooperating. Hope this is OK.

  14. I reached out to the Associated Press. The AP poll is being conducted this season. They will email me a copy of the polls moving forward.

  15. The Sagarin needs more data to sort itself out. It has Fremont at #15 over all right now.

  19. Week 2, last tune ups before WRC play... Attica at Tri County - Ramblers really let me down last week. I thought they could have started the year 2-0. Guess I was wrong. Hopefully, they don't let me down again this week against the Cavaliers. Attica in a close one. 27-20 Covington at Englewood - The cupcakes keep stacking up for the Trojans. Although I think the Techies will put up more of a fight. Good thing WRC play starts next week. Covington wins big again. 41-20 Fountain Central at Crawfordsville - Heartbreaker for the Mustangs last week. Coach Earl and the gang have another tough one this week with more of the same. Athenians start 2-0 in the WRC. 34-18 Paris, Ill. at North Vermillion - Nifty kick return for the Falcons last week. Too bad the offense didn't do anything else. Tigers have dominated this one as of late. 34-12 Seeger at Benton Central - Patriots took it on the chin from a pretty physical Carroll (Flora) team. I keep hearing Herbinator has good things going at BC with the Bison. Not this week. First win for Cronk at Seeger. 28-7 South Vermillion at Sullivan - This one will be over before halftime. Even with all those skill players, Junior Visors do not stand a chance up front. Arrows all the way. 45-6 West Vigo at Parke Heritage - This will be a fight. The Vikings started to get things going last week, it was just too late. I think Crabtree uses that for momentum into this week. Woolfs will be on the short end again. 24-22 Riverton Parke at Tri (Saturday) - From what I hear, if the Panthers don't get in their own way, they may have clocked Linton. Still a good win for them. The Titans however, are top ten ranked after pounding an inferior opponent 67-0. This will be another good test for RP. 35-7

  20. It really comes down to this. Going to any games at the pro level is financially irresponsible. The best seat in the house is from your chair. Or go to a high school game for $7.00, pay zero in parking, there and back in 3 hours.

  21. Coach Marcus Freeman's pressers are a must see, listen to. His demeanor and insights are quite impressive. And the press conferences are easy access.

  22. Dont discount East Noble. Dwenger lurking also in the tundra area of the state. What is going on at Linton! Zero points in two games.
