Glad to see that not all the Republicans in the Senate are behaving as badly as Democrats did during the hearings for Justices Kavanaugh and Barrett. Sen. Sasse (R-Neb.) said: "A lot of the jack-assery we see around here is people mugging for the cameras." At least he’s willing to admit what’s going on in this hearing.

I think it was after Jim "fired" himself as GM that things got on track. He was quoted saying that. He was known to make some really bad decisions over the years. Poulian stepped in, and they get Manning; and the rest was history.

I used to get out to Wyoming (Casper area) for business and local sports page featured their 8 man HS teams.....but always 2nd fiddle to rodeo. I thought that was really cool.

Going into last season Buck was named as one of the top Division II running backs in the nation. He was was limited with the number of carries on 2021 due to the running back by committee style of offense that Grand Valley State runs. He will have to transfer to another D2 or D3 program because if he goes to a D1 program he will have to sit out another year. He would really like to transfer the University of Georgia. Aryuan Cain-Veasey and Bulldogs CB Kelee Ringo are cousins.

The 8 man field is a little smaller. When I lived in Montana, 8 man and 6 man football was pretty popular. We recruited a lot of 8 man and 6 man players! The games were also played on Friday nights there, but doesn't necessarily mean it would be best here. This entire thing is going to be very good if done right. I love it.

I'm excited about 8-man football being an option for smaller schools who might not have the numbers for 11-man football. The more opportunities kids have to play, the better for the game (and for kids). Football has so much to offer. 8-man (and even 6-man) football is pretty common in the plains states where there are a lot of very small schools. Hopefully, this leads to more growth of the sport.

I like the Matt Ryan trade. He will actually play behind a good offensive line in Indy and I think that he has at least 2 more years left in the tank. If he doesn't, the Colts can release him next season and face zero dead cap money. His TD-INT ratio wasn't fantastic, but his completion percentage was 5% higher than Wentz. He also had 3 4th quarter comebacks and 4 game winning drives, while Wentz had zero of either. Ryan also threw 4 percent less bad passes and his on target percentage was 5% higher. Ryan is much better than every single free agent QB and it only cost the Colts a third rounder. Wentz is damaged goods and doesn't possess the clutch gene. He also didn't seem to be as committed as he should have been and also had possible attitude issues.
