  1. LOVE this pick: 1. got a 4th next year to move back 1 spot, that was AWESOME 2. Listened late last night to POLES presser, loved how they broke this kid down in their private workout weekend before Easter with OL coach, taught him schemes, adjustments to scheme, then got him winded, with putting him thru the paces, then cardio stufff followed by recall of calls at the line etc and he handled it without any issues!! 3. LOVE that he has faced the BEST OF THE BEST last 3 years and started and played a lot of games at AN ALL CONFERENCE level his final year. Checked a lot of boxes!! Beautiful. Very excited for tonight's 3 picks, wouldn't surprise me to see POLES move up to snag a impact Defended he doesn't see dropping: Hint PORTER JR Hint

  2. Fort Wayne vs Toledo Downtowns are separated by an hour and a half. The Komets vs Walleye is vicious and the fans travel well. Fort Wayne and Toledo need to schedule some football games. I like that the SAC has dug into the Indy market as Week 1 this fall looks to be very entertaining. Week 2 in my opinion should be all about Toledo. Indy has regular hookups with Cincinnati and Louisville, Fort Wayne needs to do the same with Toledo. Furthermore, Luers needs to hook up with Coldwater, OH. Coldwater's impression of Fort Wayne can't be that good after obliterating Elmhurst by halftime several years back. Although the Miners prospects vs the team from Akron doesn't look to promising, it did inspire me to create this post.

  3. Congrats Coach Meeks, well deserved. The list of gentlemen he's being inducted with isn't too shabby either.

  4. Excellent response when I make a post season comment about a team that has not won a sectional game since 2013. Well done lol.

  5. Would like to see them take the center from Minnesota, get that offensive line figured out foe the next 5+ years

  6. That is not the Eastern agenda. They would not like playing Eastbrook, Oak Hill, and Miss every year for a conference championship. It is why they got out of the MIC.

  7. I would think NW would be looking to get out asap. 4 wins in the past 5 years, has to be a better conference out there where they can have some success.

  8. Would likely be the end of conferences as we know it. Would lay open the path to districts.

  9. Didn't Eastern powers to be when they shook up conference have a powerpoint that said something like, Winning vs smaller school would lead to better athletic participation? Something to that affect, does this mean they have reset themselves and ready for a bigger challenge ??

  10. I was hoping they would go with Wright after some stuff I heard about him in the past week. I'm going to need to go back and watch the Alabama/Tennessee game. Will Anderson is on record saying Wright was the best OT he played against this year.

  11. I know that Frankfort is out classed in their current conference situation, but I am not sure going into a 1A dominated conference is the answer for them. BC would fit in the HH fine.

  12. Ol Uncle Joe....Can't remember the last country he visited (last week, btw), his favorite team in the Stanley Cup playoffs this year is the Philadelphia Flyers (not in the playoffs, btw), remembers all his grandchildren's names (except for the one Hunter has trouble claiming) and still wonders where Jackie Walorski is....... https://nypost.com/2023/04/27/biden-cant-recall-visit-to-ireland-he-took-two-weeks-ago/ The 80-year-old commander-in-chief had difficulty remembering his recent state visit to Ireland Thursday while being grilled by kids during a Take Your Child to Work event at the White House. “The last country I’ve traveled, I’m trying to think of the last one I was in,” Biden mused to the children of administration staffers and members of the media. “I’ve been to, met with 89 heads of state so far. So, uh, trying to think where was the last place I was; it’s hard to keep track.” “Ireland,” a child shouted out, jogging the president’s memory. “Yeah, you’re right, Ireland. That’s where it was,” he said good-naturedly. “How’d you know that?” Biden, with the help of first son Hunter, also took questions from children of US Embassy workers while in Ireland — but hosted no formal news conferences, frustrating members of the White House press corps. The Ireland exchange was one of a handful Thursday that highlighted the president’s frequent memory lapses, most notably forgetting the death of Congresswoman Jackie Walorski and calling out the Indiana Republican’s name at an event last September. President Biden snubbed one of his seven grandchildren during a White House event. Another child at the White House event asked Biden: “Do you watch the Stanley Cup playoffs, and if you do, do you have a favorite team?” “I did, and I do: the Philadelphia Flyers,” the president answered, apparently unaware that the team did not make the tournament this year. The commander-in-chief also rattled off the names of grandchildren Naomi, 29, Finnegan, 23, Maisy, 22, Natalie, 18, Robert Hunter Biden II, 17, and Beau Jr., 2, but stopped short of mentioning Navy Joan Roberts, the often-unacknowledged 4-year-old daughter of Hunter and Lunden Roberts, a former stripper. The president also said he was rooting for the Flyers to win the Stanley Cup, even though the team did not make the playoffs. “And guess what? They’re crazy about me because I pay so much attention to them,” Biden said, getting some laughs from the crowd of parents and children present. An Arkansas judge ruled Monday that Hunter, 53, who has been staying away from the proceedings of a child support case involving his love child with Lunden, must attend all court hearings going forward. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) suggested last week that money from Hunter’s foreign business deals — which benefited other members of the first family — may have gone to some of the president’s nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Roberts is suing Hunter for child support, but deliberations have been slowed by questions about financial records on his abandoned laptop.

  14. Oak Hill had a caveat that the entire Grant 4 get an invite. Sort of a tough ask, but totally get them wanting to stick with their county cohort. Eastern was a name I’d also heard. Not sure how far down the road that went, but certainly would be desirable if you’re one of the southern TRC schools. Maybe adding Eastern is enough to entice Oak Hill?? Eastern left the MIC due to wanting to be a big fish. I think their athletic programs would compete in the TRC, but maybe not at the championship caliber they’ve become accustomed to in the HHC.

  15. The kids in the hallways and classes say that they hear 2 more to come to the TRC. The admin is tight-lipped. We shall see 🙂.
