Staxawax
JMHO top 15 in the State of Indiana: 1. New Palestine 2. Warren Central 3. Avon 4. F W Snider 5. Brownsburg 6. Carmel 7. Fishers 8. Lawrence North 9. Cathedral 10. Lafayette Jeff 11. Center Grove 12. Westfield 13. Homestead 14. Valparaiso 15. F W Dwenger Let the critiqueing begin......
Bears62
Snider too high imo. Other than that not much to argue, I think CG will be a different team with Steele back. Top 3 could go anyway, I think New Pal has earned the #1 spot for now though
Frozen Tundra
Yeah. No disrespect to Snider but I need to see them play a few more games before I put them that high. At the moment, I'm not so sure they're even ahead of Dwenger. Maybe Carroll is a very good team this year but I still think Dwenger is the measuring stick in the SAC. Not much to critique. I think a few might be able to be switched around, but that’s probably the top 15.
psaboy
Either Snider is too high, or Carroll needs to be on list as well. In real thought, Snider is too high and I think Carroll is close to being on list. May want to swap Dwenger and Homestead.

Boilernation
Valpo is too low. Their D is too good to keep them out of the top 10.

Vikings would of been a threat in 6a North as well as 5a North
foxbat
Good list. Would West Lafayette be #16?

Not much small school love here. as always, the game is better from_the_sidelines007

I’m not seeing any that are worthy of being top 15 material. You kind of made the case for classes in your response. Boilernation
I’ll buck the trend a little: 1. Avon 2. Cathedral 3. New Pal 4. Warren Central 5. Carmel 6. Brownsburg 7. Valpo 8. Snider 9. Center Grove 10. Dwenger 11. LN 12. Fishers 13. Homestead 14. FW Carroll 15. Laf. Jeff

So, are you saying that the best high school football teams in Indiana are all Large-school? What is your criteria and I'll see if I can match your expectations. as always, the game is better from_the_sidelines007
Sledge
Tough to tell after just two weeks, but Chatard has to be at least knocking on the door. No bias here! 😁 Will learn a lot in the next two weeks vs. Roncalli and Cathedral

But, generally speaking, yes, most of the best teams are from larger enrollments. New Pal is one pleasant exception. This reminds me back about 25 or so years ago, when people were wanting a Dullaghan/Ben Davis vs. Wright/Sheridan winner take all game. After all, they both were cleaning up on their classes! dmizers3
I'll reserve judgment on Chatard until we see how they do against Cathedral, Southport, and then Terre Haute North and Bloomington South at the end of the year. But they're probably at least knocking on the door of the top 15, as is Michigan City.

Again, really early, but Chatard looks strong right now.
