Snider's offense didn't do the defense any favors. Should probably drop completely out of your Top 25.

Come on now, the defense got steamrolled by Carroll. They easily had over 300 yards on the Panthers defense

Don't know if it was reported yet but some kid from Northwood hit a 60 yard field goal with about 5-8 yards to spare. No wind either. Insane. probably would have been good fromm 67 which would be an NFL record

It was a helluva kick and it had distance to spare.  It was the game of the week on Sports Michiana with Chuck Freeby, Go Hundt and Angelo DeCarlo.  Northwood stops Northridge's 2 pt conversion @ the 1 yd line w/ 30 seconds left and wins the game 17-16.  Great game between the 2 teams.

Just saying Snider's offense kept the defense on the field the whole game. But yeah, total domination by Carroll. The Chargers are 4-1 against Snider since 2020.

They haven't indicated so far when the game will resume and the location.

Westfield 21

HSE 14 OT

Defensive battle for most of the game. After just over an hour delay for lightning before the start, Westfield gets the only score in the firsts half on a 62 yard TD run by Deacon King. HSE misses a 50 yard FG at the end of the first half.

Second half more of the same, but a LOT of penalties called on both teams, stopping potential scoring drives. Westfield partially blocked a HSE punt, giving them great field position inside the HSE 40, only to have back to back holdiing calls negate any scoring threat. Westfield QB Carsen Melvin also dropped two handoffs to the running back, losing one of them, again near midfield. Having a 72% completion rate going into this game, he did not have a good game, and had several drops by receivers.

Finally, after a HSE TD drive, Westfield quickly regains the lead 14-7 on a King 58 yard TD catch and run. Westfield had a chance to put this one away late, but their kicker had a 33 yard attempt doink first off of the left upright, then down and off of the crossbar. HSE took advantage, thanks to a 4th down run deep in their own end, followed by a long pass into the Westfield red zone. A few plays later, it's tied at 14.  Time ends with Westfield in their own end and letting the clock run down. Westfield has the ball first in OT, and immediately scores on a 10 yard run..PAT makes it 21-14.  After two runs up the gut by HSE, on 3rd and goal from the Westfield 4, the HSE running back has the ball stripped by Micha Webster. Westfield recovers, game over.

Next week at Brownsburg.

Bloomington North 24 Terre Haute North 14 (final)

The North Cougars played a mistake-filled game unlike last week when they played a mistake-free game against Bloom. South, which smells of a hangover game for them. I don't know how many penalties they ended up with, but they had 9 offensive holding penalties in the game which stopped drives in their track.

Bloomington South 36 Terre Haute South 34 (2:42, 4th)

In a game where defense is an afterthought, TH South Braves score on a 2-yard run after an 80-yard drive.

Bloomington South 36 Terre Haute South 34 (2:04, 4th)

With the way both defenses are giving up points, South had a 4th and 1 at their own 29-yard line and not wanting to give up the ball, went for it with RB Braylen Townsend picking up a first down on a 3-yard run.

Bloomington South 36 Terre Haute South 34 (final)

Both offenses put up big numbers in this game with TH South also scoring on a 92-yard kickoff return that happened last night before they postponed the game.
