They looked pretty solid earlier this year in my opinion plus they won three straight sectionals.  They also beat three teams(Riverton Parke, Eastern, Sheridan) who are still playing and an undefeated Frontier team so it's not like they played a bunch of 1st yr programs.  I just think they were making mental mistakes early and things just started to go sideways.

Sectional 41- I'll take the Jays over the Lancers

Sectional 42- Panthers over the Titans- Looked like 12 for Taylor left against Tri-County with a head injury at the end of the game. Would be a huge loss for Taylor if he can't play.

Sectional 43- Triton over N. Miami in the rematch

Sectional 44- Madison Grant ends South Adams season

Sectional 45- South Putnam's SOS propels them to a win over Riverton Parke

Sectional 46- Sheridan over Cloverdale

Sectional 47- Milan's SOS helps them win over North Decatur

Sectional 48- Providence over North Davies

The mighty competition just won 3 sectionals- Taylor/Sheridan/Eastern- It's simple, they are HS kids- Carroll didn't play well vs Pioneer-season over- Pioneer didn't play well vs Taylor (team Carroll beat by 35) season over.  It's why you play the games.  I'm sure N Judson didn't foresee going into the regional round that Carroll/Pioneer/Madison Grant would all be sitting at home.  It's why you play the games- any given Friday things can and will happen.  Excited to see what next week brings.

Pioneer had major issues with Taylor's speed. Rans couldn't outrun anyone tonight. 

Taylor's D is tough. I was impressed that Winamac threw for 126 and their main back ran for 118. It definitely didn't look like they did that much. Good for those Taylor kids. After how they treated Xavier Adriano, im a fan.

South Adams passing looks impressive.  Not sure how good their oline is but if they can give the QB time, the skilled guys can get into some space. They could score on NJ a couple times.  Not sure if they can win though. South Adams passing game is better compared to any of Judson's opponents. 

North Judson is probably pretty similar to Madison Grant except Judson can throw a bit more and isn't as run heavy. I'm sure Judson is more physical and better up front compared to MG.

South Adams has to get by North Miami in the regional before they'd have a shot at North Judson. If their passing game is as good as advertised it could be a long night for North Miami who struggles in pass defense, although I believe the Warriors amassed 9 picks through 3 sectional games.

North Judson 56, Taylor 14: Blue Jays roll, but the Titans score two long touchdowns early to spark some hope.

South Adams 41, North Miami 35: The Starfires win their third straight track meet behind their dynamic passing game.

South Putnam 42, Sheridan 21: Just too much Eagle for Coach Wright and the Blackhawks to handle.

Milan 29, Providence 28: The road warrior Indians chew up the game clock and avenge their two score loss from earlier this year.

The 1A state champion has to be a private school STATE LAW! Crown Providence state champs right now and move on to basketball and wrestling (and swimming if you're into that sort of thing)

I picked South Putnams to win 1A south when Lutherans moved up last year. Nothing has changed my mind.
