East Noble drives the field and scores a walk off touchdown to win the game…

Good teams figure it out in the end. Sounds like they fell asleep, then woke up when it mattered most.

Dwenger 9, Carroll 6

I'm fired

Dude, I said Carroll is not all that. Neither is Dwenger. I think this might go down as one of the worst years of SAC football, certainly in the last 25 years

Harrison still fighting.  Converts on 4th and 10 with 26 yard reception to the 1.  Quick score.  Jeff jumps offside on PAT.  PAT good.

Jeff 47 - Harrison 26.

Harrison recovers their own onside kick.

I'm very surprised by the CN/Roncalli score. I expected the opposite result.

I did very much as well, one of the more surprising scores of the night for me

Cathedral 23, Bishop Chatard 20.  Van Krisiloff kicked a 46 yard field goal with 9 seconds left for the winning margin.  Krisiloff also kicked two other FG's and two EP's and the Irish scored two touchdowns in the second half, after overcoming a 13-0 BC lead.  It was a typical hard hitting Catholic football game.  Hat's off to the Trojans, and good luck the rest of the season.

I'm so worn out, it's hard to type!

How bad does that make Center Grove?

CG drove just a hair over 2 hrs and won the game by 9pts. I think it is fair to say they are pretty good. Most teams don't travel long distances well and come out with a multi score win.

just laid 63 on Ben Davis....the Trojans must really be bad. 😉

That was after losing 2 key offensive players for the season in the last week.

I would have agreed with you a few years ago. Someone did a study on travel. A two hour drive doesn't seem to impact the score of a game according to the study.

We have had lots of drives that have been 1:45-3 hours over the tenure in Hoosier Conference and some other games we've been in, Champign Urbana, Woodstock IL.   Doesn't seem to be any issue with our kids, when we've played poorly in those instances, like last year Woodstock, wasn't from the bus ride, more so a big strong old physical team wore us out over 48 mins, vs not being ready to play bc of length of trip,   Just my experience in a couple of decades and some change in this profession

I would have argued to exhaustion a few years ago. I was wrong, it doesn't seem to make any difference if you really dive deep into it.
