Bloomington South 50 New Albany 20 (final)

The Bulldogs ran all over South last season to the tune of around 440 yards on the ground, but South's rebuilt defense held them in check tonight. I don't know what they ended up with, but New Albany had 53 yards on the ground at the end of the 3rd, and they spent much of the 4th passing the ball trying to play catch up football. Big win for South as New Albany was a veteran team with what I believe was 17 starters back from last season. South's defense gave up 7 points with special teams giving up the other two TDs.

Their entire starting defense from last season was gone and had to be replaced. They do have the two 4 star recruits in the McCullough brothers that transferred in that play on defense.
