South's Dasan McCullough picked a pass at the Castle 35 yard line setting up a short drive which again died in the red zone forcing South into another FG to give South some breathing room. A penalty on South inside the Castle 10 yard line hurt South on the drive. The FG was the same distance as an extra point.

Honestly, I kind of expected EC to do this with the weather and all.  Perfect EC weather.  Still, lots of time left.  Add that EC played a dominant Roncalli team tough.

Agreed, they were likely looking past them to next week, sometimes that is a fatal season mistake.

Lawrence Central seemed to get too worried about the clock when all they had to do was keep playing their game.  Warren punt returner lets the ball roll to the 13.  First down Warren with 2:35 left
