Wabash River Conference Week 4.
Bear54 replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I clearly struck a nerve, which means you are acually jealous of RP and their recent success. You have to be from Rockville. Only some one from Rockville would get so heated about anything RP, good or bad. -
EIAC Week 4
hhpatriot04 replied to TigerBLenthusiast69's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I'd say a little rhyme, but it would be a waste of my time. East Central in Cincy ran an offense out of the sixties. What's left of the EIAC, we shall see. RIP to the thread of the dead. -
To make it easy, you can just use the Predictor Tool to set the lines or John Harrell's predictions.

Just finished these last night. I might rework Dwenger's helmet so it looks more gold. Any input is appreciated. Is this what teams are wearing this season?

TRC Week 4
hhpatriot04 replied to First_Backer_Inside's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
How do these look? This has been by far the most difficult conference because it seems these teams get very little media coverage, so very few photos to pick from. Your input would be appreciated! -

Now this is the kind of activity on this page that would make @Donnie Baker proud. All this chatter about the conference being down and who's who over the last 20 years got me thinking about all-time teams/schools. Below is a list of conference championships won in the WRC. I was actually surprised by the numbers and tried to find conference championships by coach. I'm not sure that data is available. Can anyone find records for coaches in the WRC (coaching, not criminal) and total number of championships? The 1994-2006 run by Seeger was quite impressive, only matched by NV's run from 2012-2019. I look to see Seeger take the top spot again in the next couple years. Titles School Years 14 Fountain Central 1965, 1966, 1975, 1976, 1979, 1980, 1983, 1996, 1997*, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2016*, 2017* 13 North Vermillion 1967, 1986*, 1987, 1989*, 1992, 1993, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016*, 2018, 2019 12 Seeger 1988*, 1989*, 1994, 1995*, 1997*, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 8 Rockville1 1968, 1984, 1988*, 1989*, 1991*, 1997*, 2007, 2008 7 Covington 1964, 1970*, 1972*, 1974*, 1985, 1986*, 1991* 7 Southmont1 1971, 1972*, 1974*, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1982 3 Attica 1990, 1999, 2000 2 North Montgomery1 1972*, 1973 2 Turkey Run1 1970*, 1995* 1 Coal Creek Central1 1969 3 South Vermillion 2017*, 2023, 2024 0 Ladoga1 0 New Market1 1 Parke Heritage 2021 1 Riverton-Parke 2025 0 Veedersburg1 -

I watched part of that game. Lots of penalties, cramps, water breaks, broken plays. Are WC and NC rivals? There was lots of jawing. -

Week 4 Picks BNL (2-1, 1-0 HHC) at New Albany (1-2, 0-0 HHC): The Stars lead the all-time series with the Bulldogs 26-22. BNL has won 3 of the last 4 and 5 of the last 7. New Albany finally gets to play an unranked opponent after opening the season with three straight top 10 2A teams. With this being their first conference game of the season, we’ll finally get an idea of where New Albany is at within the HHC hierarchy. Crazy to think BNL could’ve actually been 3-0 for this game if they had held their big lead against Bloomington North. I don’t think New Albany presents a challenge. BNL wins big. 5A #5/#6 Floyd Central (3-0, 0-0 HHC) at Seymour (0-3, 0-2 HHC): The all-time series is tied 15-15. The Owls have never trailed in the series but that’s about to change. After their meeting in 2008, Seymour led the series 11-3. The Highlanders have won 12 of the last 16 and are on a three game win streak in the series currently. Columbus East crushed Seymour last week and I imagine Floyd Central will do worse to them. I expect a running clock for the entirety of the second half. Jennings County (2-1) at Columbus East (1-2): The Olympians lead the all-time series with the Panthers 48-7 and have won the last 28. To avoid ruffling any feathers and causing my buddy problems, I’ll just put it nicely. It should be a quick night for East like it will be for Floyd Central. At least the fireworks will be a good show. Kokomo (0-3) at Jeffersonville (1-2): The Wildkats won the first ever meeting with the Red Devils in 1984. Jeff won the second ever meeting last year. This year’s contest between the two is the first ever at Jeffersonville. Two and a half hours is a long drive so that could have an effect on Kokomo. However, based on who the teams have played in the first three weeks and the scores of those games, I’m going with Kokomo. The Wildkats are 0-3 with a -41 point differential against opponents that are a combined 7-2. Meanwhile, Jeff is 1-2 with a -48 point differential against opponents that are a combined 3-6. It’s not where I want to go (sorry Beach Boys), but I’m going with Kokomo. -

Is it the third time when it becomes a pattern? Just checking so that I get it correct next week. Yes I know how bad the old Riverton teams were ten years ago. Guess what I don't ever remember any teams that were much bigger and stronger than them taking any cheap shots on anyone. I have also seen the clip of last weeks hit. We'll call it "simply RP's turn" when they win a game with some meaning behind it. Jealous of RIVERTON PARKE??? NEVER. Matt King would be the winningest coach in WRC history and whatever school would be lucky enough to get him they would also benefit from the transfers not Riverton. -
North Miami @ North Judson - NM struggling to find a groove right now. Jays win big. 56-6. Triton @ South Central- Triton pulls off the win this week. 35-26. Culver @ Winamac- Winamac pulls away in the second half. 35-14. Pioneer @ Caston- Caston seems to be in the top three this year in the HNAC. Pioneer 42-21.

1.) I believe both of them are on the roster at DePauw.. not sure if they are getting any playing time or not. 2.) Sounds like the Tenderloin Man may be the most hated, guess everyone else should get better. RP was the doormat of the WRC for years and when its their turn everyone throws hate. Sounds like we have some jealous people in this thread. 3.) Prince is 100% the son of King Herb. 4.) Maybe King Jr. and Billy Bettis could be on the same staff. Not sure who would hire them but it'd be worth a shot. 5.) All you have to do is ask him and he'll tell you all about it. Sounds like whatever he is doing is working if RP is suppose to get all these transfers. -

Its weeks like this last one that make you question how good Warren Central really is. Beat Center Grove and then play a close one with North Central? -

2 of them are on the team roster at Depauw Coach Sanders & Kevin Allen is hated because he has won some games in the last 2 years and RP isn't taking crap from anyone. Now everyone is mad.... Do Better. I can only assume Matt King isn't sitting at home trolling folks about his daddy not being able to win games anymore...but I could be wrong. He would only take over the current place his dad is at... but if not... I say Covington...why are they not better? Man I tell you what.. Kevin Allen is getting RP rollin and I love it. HE is using what he has to make that a better place! It is working.... if you build they will come or whatever they said in Field of Dreams. -

Kelby will be the best qb in the WRC next year. IF THEY CHANGE THEIR OFFENSE. I know you can agree with that Billy. Looks to me like Brad may be getting some hate but that's what happens when you win. What if the prince is Herb?? 😂 I did not know Matt King was the OC at Marian. That's pretty awesome. Don't know if there are any previous WRC players coaching at the college level? Is Kevin Allen the reason RP has got all the new stuff for the football field? New scoreboard, covered bridge, field goals post and lights (i think?) I also saw they got one of those robots that paints the field. He must be rich -
Yeah, was a little surprised he didn't get the job out of the gate. Looks like he is doing what he can to change that.

Seeing Ozzy listed as LT #2 along with Ben's comments regarding his recovery gives me hope he'll be back much sooner than anticipated. I'm not looking forward to watching Jones at LT on Sunday.

There are 2 on the team at Depauw (Anthony & Dom)... Is there another one? The Prince lives in a fantasy world... -
Odd situation. Now he's left Halas Hall and is rehabbing with his personal trainer. Seems like a last ditch effort for him. Ian Rapoport's update yesterday alludes to Gordon being back with the Bears in a few weeks. I guess we'll see. He's not eligible to play until Week 5, so he has plenty of time to heal and be ready.

Point spreads seems like a nice method for a pick'em. Like the SW conference is doing in their thread. I like that a lot. I'd participate, if that were the case.
-
This is my issue as well. Hard to trust the process when nobody can even see the clock that is considered official. Good for them! I'm really surprised they decided to bite the hand that feeds them.

Thursday without a thread... sad How the mighty have fallen. Batesville at Rushville, 7 pm Franklin County at East Central, 7:30 pm Greensburg at Lawrenceburg, 7 pm Shenandoah at Connersville, 7 pm South Dearborn at Richmond, 7 pm

His dad played golf with a guy here at work and he said that was the first pick 6 he has thrown EVER, in his career. In 4 years of high school, I'm not sure he had 10 INTs in 4 years and the dude would sling it 40 times a game. After throwing that INT, he came back to throw a 40+ yard TD pass and another deep ball for a completion. I'm a fan of him and I'm rooting for him--he should get the spot.

https://www.indystar.com/story/opinion/columnists/james-briggs/2026/09/10/ips-referendum-no-vote-wont-help/91664189007/ What most people don't understand is that a labor union, by it's very nature, has it's members as the #1 priority. Not children/students, not patients, not widgets, etc. So never believe the propaganda being spewed by the the ISTA/NEA that it really cares about students, and education. It cares about the money, and how much of that money goes into their member's pockets and the union's coffers. All was well and good when IPS had a virtual monopoly on the education business in Marion county, but not now when they actually have some competition in the education market.
