What Coach Allen and his staff has done with the current level of recruits on the roster has been outstanding. Young men like McFadden, Fryfogle, Penix and Mullen did not come to Btown as 4 star recruits. I believe McFadden had 2 Power 5 D1 offers. (IU & BC) Player development at IU has been off the charts. Look how many preseason watch lists these players are on. Did anyone see Scott Frost's press conference at the recent Big 10 meeting? He was either poking Fleck or Allen (perhaps both) about having catchy slogans. Maybe he should develop something to start winning. Man is on the hot seat and pointing out others that have done far better?? Interesting approach.

The point remains: trade him and get a Herschel Walker-type haul. Let him go UFA, and you get nothing.

I think the most I’ve heard Schefter say is that Rogers “doesn’t want to play with the Packers.” I don’t recall him saying he wouldn’t. But what I don’t understand is what the Packers could possibly be thinking. Rogers plays this season and then becomes an unrestricted free agent? When they could have traded him this year for multiple starters? Or after next season for multiple starters/1st round draft picks. Now they’ve got all their eggs in the 2021-22 basket. And then he leaves and they get nothing. Doesn’t make sense to me.

They went 8-5 two years ago and 6-2 last year and are now starting to see the dividends on the recruiting front. Two best winning % seasons IU’s had in 3 decades, not sure what you mean that it hasn’t shown on the field yet?

Warsaw would be about 45 minutes from most of their SAC competition........Wayne being the furthest at 60 minutes. Huntington North would be 20-40 minutes from SAC opponents. LaPorte to Crown Point = 54 minutes LaPorte to Crown Point = 45 minutes Valpo to Crown Point = 33 minutes

With college athletics essentially becoming de facto semi-pro leagues in the revenue generating sports, should academic accreditation really be gauged? OU and UT happened for one reason: $$$. The term student-athlete really doesn’t apply anymore. Kansas and Iowa really do nothing for the B10 if you look at the bigger picture. Neither of those schools football programs are going to move the needle in media re-negotiations and they’re simple going to cut into the existing members revenue share. There’s 3-4 schools from a financial standpoint that make sense; Notre Dame, Clemson, UCLA and USC. If you can’t get any of them, don’t bother. Sometimes less is more

While I could say I KNEW this all along, it was just a hunch. There were many more reasons TO play in Green Bay than not. That said, I would like to see him actually address what all REALLY went on. It is undeniable there WAS something to the story; but what exactly was it? I would also guess that if he does show up to camp, the deal with Adams will be done shortly after.

Man, this guy is an all star! No BS here. He has the stuff.. I’m reeling in all these interviews, but this guy may take the cake.

Wonder what kind of report we get once he studies them a little. That was pretty in depth for not much research yet.

Sorry to see him leave. He did alot for the program at NR. I sincerely hope all is well with him and the family. I posted the same letter earlier in the IFCA thread with Coach Nowlin. Harms will have his hands full replacing him, but the school should be able to find a worthy replacement with the recently upgraded facilities that are just incredible. (That hardly anyone was able to experience this season due to Covid)
