  1. They have been sent to Head coaches… Friendly reminder… if they are Top 50, they WILL NOT be on their class All-State Team.

  4. So far today (knock on wood), things have gone about as well as they could for the Irish. Boise State won handily, which will improve ND’s SOR and SOS. Texas Tech won, so BYU is out. And Georgia is making Alabama look bad. Don’t know what more we could ask for in the way of help.

  6. The fall count day enrollments for this year have not been released by the DOE yet, but they should be available soon. I’ve posted the DOE enrollments shortly after they are released for the past several years, and I am glad to continue doing so again this year.

  7. Unreal!!! Losing est team in college football history, breaks 30 game losing streak vs. Ohio State, and beats the Buckeyes at their own game!!! Ho, Ho, Hoosiers!!!

  8. Long ride home for the Buckeyes! I had a friend, who I haven't seen in years, who went with his dad to all IU football games, home and away for years. This one is for all long suffering IU fans, but especially Rod Conner!

  11. Looked right at LOS. I understand the rule. I would have liked them to show that a few times with location of the receiver when he was hit and knocked backwards. If receiver on LOS at snap and knocked backwards, of course the ball doesn’t arrive at the LOS

  12. Defense is playing well. Penalties have hurt them, but they are giving themselves a chance.

  13. ESPN is in bed with the SEC. What’s really bad is ESPN is the driver of the CFP. No conflict of interest here…

  14. Not entirely true. The Bowl Coalition was in its 2nd year and tried getting 1-2 matchups in a rotating bowl that would serve as the championship game, along with the other highest ranked teams. FSU was ranked 1st in the AP and 3rd in the coaches' poll. Nebraska was ranked 2nd in the AP and 1st in the coaches' poll. So FSU and Nebraska were matched up in the Orange Bowl, the designated championship game for that season. Interestingly, the team that got screwed just as much as the Irish was West Virginia. They were ranked 2nd, ahead of FSU in the coaches' poll. After the bowls were done, FSU was ranked 1st with Notre Dame ranked 2nd.

  16. Can we agree that the medical care provided by the teams now is light years better than it has been as recently as 20 yrs. ago?

  17. Please CC every Knox fan who has never looked at an All State list. Myles was a Top 50 RB which means he is not on the All State team.

  18. The arguments against Notre Dame on here are weak. I think you guys will look more credible if try to be objective.

  21. Arkansas is 2-10. It’s going to be a miserable Sunday for Notre Dame fans at this stage.

  22. Lost to A&M by 1 point when they were playing their worst. A&M beat LSU by 24 points. Beat Missouri by 21 points. There was a time when I feared the SEC as a Notre Dame fan. There's not one team in the SEC that I would take over Notre Dame in a bet. It's widely accepted that Notre Dame is better right now than they were when they rolled through Penn State and Georgia en route to the 2024 title game. Arkansas: Lost to Ole Miss by 6 Lost to Tennessee by 3 Lost to A&M by 3 Lost to LSU by 1 Lost to Texas by 15 Lost to Notre Dame by 42 - this is really hard to ignore. Spin it how you want, Notre Dame is the best team in the SEC.

  23. Look him up. I heard him being interviewed yesterday. They were talking about Ohio State and all the athletes they have. He said in order for a team to beat Ohio State, they'll have to have balance. Defense, run game, passing game. I thought, hmmm, that sounds like Notre Dame. His answer, Notre Dame. I just thought it fascinating coming from an SEC guy, Georgia I believe. Not saying his opinion is the be all end all. Just a bit of validation for me that I'm not being biased or crazy. Notre Dame passes the eye test, plain and simple. People around the country agree. I'll say it again, even Saban stated that this team is different than they were in in Weeks 1 & 2. New QB and new defensive coordinator. With those things worked out, this team is ready to play for a national championship. Look, at the end of the day, everyone knows Notre Dame is a Top 12 team, more than likely one of the best six teams in the country. If you can't see that, you're probably in denial. But I understand the chaos involved this weekend and how the playoff format is structured. We never thought it would be possible that a legitimate title contender could be left out of the 12 team field, but here we are. All the more reason to move this thing to sixteen. Certain, with sixteen teams, we won't be having this conversation again, right?

  24. This sounds perilously close to @Muda69’s process of promotion and relegation.

  25. Did they cannibalize each other? Exactly one bottom half SEC team beat a top half SEC team; Florida over Texas back in September. That's it. The bottom of the SEC was terrible this year. Florida lost to South Florida. Arkansas lost to Memphis. UK lost 41-0 to Louisville. South Carolina lost at home to 6-6 Clemson. It's an overrated conference and has been the last couple of seasons. But ESPN has too much stake in the game to say otherwise.

  26. Thanks. If I really cared to waste time on you, I'd go look for more, but you're really not worth my time. Have a nice day.
