The Irish will host Tennessee State in the 2023 opener, the first time ND has ever played an FCS school. Right now, Notre Dame is one of only 3 FBS schools that has never played an FCS team. This is all about ND providing a big stage for an HBCU school, and is the product of the friendship between 2 Ohio State alums, Marcus Freeman and Eddie George, the coach of Tennessee State. Going to be quite a big deal next year.

Fort Wayne could be trending that way as well. Carroll took a share of the SAC title in 2021. Homestead took the title outright in 2019 and 2020. Three years may not be enough to draw any conclusions, but as the student populations of those two schools continue to grow, the likelihood of them staying at the top is pretty strong. These suburban schools with large student bodies and a wealth of resources are becoming too much to overcome for the city schools. We'll see what 2022 brings. Right now it's a crapshoot between Snider, Dwenger, Homestead, and Carroll.
Congratulations to Justice Jackson on her historic bipartisan confirmation as the first African American woman to sit on the Court. Now, let’s roll up the sleeves and get to work.

*sigh* I meant college/university tuition. My apologies for not making that clear enough.
Then I very much doubt those high school athletes will be courted to sign a high school NIL contract.
Teachers union spends more on Dem causes than its own members, analysis finds: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/teachers-union-spending-democratic-causes-its-own-members-analysis
Yep, definitely now a political organization masquerading as a labor union. It's dues-paying members should be proud of the subterfuge.
Ehh, she’s one of nine and she’s replacing a justice that typically lands on the left side of the aisle, not a hill I’m willing to die on. A LOT of Indy’s problems could be solved by just having a judge look at a criminal’s record and decide bail accordingly rather than have a prescribed bail schedule. This is just simple local policing/justice fixes that will never rise to the level of SCOTUS.
I disagree, I think if you look at this locally, which ultimately it is, I think you can get changes made. I think there is a reasonable chance changes may be coming to Indy/Metro. I don’t think SCOTUS has jack shit to do with the issues I’m talking about, automatic bonds, taxpayer funded bail, if they need to go to prison, send them to prison.
Purdue PolyTechnic High School, which should be IHSAA eligible this fall in 3A, will have a new Head Coach in Chris Chang. An assistant under Rick Wimmer and Curt Funk (2016-2020) at Fishers and Mike Kelly (2021-2022) at HSE. Dante Cook, the former head coach, will still stay on staff.
A very small percentage of the population commits violent crimes in a metro area. The neighborhood knows who it is, the police know who it is, the prosecutors know who it is, remove them from society. These people don’t fear death, they fear being locked in a cell. Marion County is a prime example of prison reform gone wrong and how being woke costs people their lives.
After looking at the picture again, maybe @Bash Riprock was talking about the car. That car has been sitting there a couple of years. It belonged to the last out-of-towner who entered the bar. He was never heard from again. The regulars all insist he "entered the transfer portal". Yeah, that's the ticket.
A school conference is a voluntary association of schools and athletic directors. Because they are not spending taxpayer money for conference business (each team pays dues or shares costs for trophies, et al, out of athletic department funds that come from ticket sales), their meetings are not required to be open to the public.
Most conferences are public school-only. Some are private-school only (the Circle City Conference being one). A few are a mix of private and charter schools (The Pioneer conference, which is a non-football conference, fits that bill). Some have a mix of both (LCC, for example, is a member of the Hoosier Conference. The Indiana Crossroads has two private schools among its eight teams).
Ah. This is soooooo rich. Spoken from the side of tolerance and acceptance by all. Will not even listen and see facts. Too late. Your comments, or shall I say, lack thereof, speak volumes. No wonder why so many families are choosing to leave public education. They are beginning to see right through it all. You guys keep up the charade. I am trying to fix the brokenness from the inside.
Nice try though pal. Good luck with that endeavor. And this is all just the tip of the iceberg.
😂 🐂💩
