Look at the 2 teams in my thread leading the charge!! Go ahead and make Springs Valley 8. Highly doubt a team left on their schedule will keep it remotely close

I wonder how many teams have been on the wrong end of the running up the score per week. Benton Central comes to mind when thinking about it.

I've been compiling a Victims list as well.  I'll try and add it to the week #6 post.  I don't have that information at my current location.

Mississinewa has outscored opponents 208-0 this season and is the only team in the Nation to not allow a single point.  Once the running clock goes into effect, Mississinewa pulls the starting offense and plays the 2nd and 3rd string units.  Mississinewa keeps their defense on the field as long as the opponent leaves their starting offense on the field.  Mississinewa will work 2nd and 3rd string defensive players in until the opponent pulls the starting offense.  Once the opponent pulls the starting offense Mississinewa puts in the JV and Freshman teams.  Mississinewa has only scored 3 times in the 2nd half all season.  They scored in the 2nd half against Marion to make it 35-0.  Then the Freshman scored late in the game against Frankton.  Then against Alexandria they scored early in the 2nd half.  Mississinewa isn't trying to run up the score but the offense is that powerful and the defense is that good.

Quite a few, but i don't think that's based on any animosity toward BC.  While the starters were probably pulled, the subs aren't probably thinking about humanity.  They want to score as bad as the starters did.

BC, winless at 0-5, has been beat by over 35 in 4 occasions this season.  The only time they didn't is when South Newton beat them by 13.

I know Whiting would be on both lists (2 as offender, 2 as victim).  Be curious who else would be a multiple offender/victim, especially after only 5 weeks.

I don't know about others, but I'm happy to see Richmond getting some scores.  Richmond hasn't had a winning season since 2013, and only three wins in the last three seasons.  Nonetheless, the players/coaches and fans/parents got a chance to have some opportunities to cheer even though they lost.

Good for them. I want to see it in the playoffs otherwise your Brownsburg part 2…

It's strange that a school with the enrollment of North Central could be so uncompetitive.  Their numbers were not what you would expect from a school of that size either.  I have no answer for it.

New Pal-Pendleton was a competitive game for most of the night ... 28-10 at halftime, PH nearly ran the second half kickoff back for a TD that would've made it 28-17. Instead, the teams traded TDs before a New Pal TD drive, a blocked punt, another TD and suddenly it was 49-17 in a blink of an eye. Didn't get to running clock until about four minutes left.

Based on the points scored none of the teams had much defense.  I know Marion one kid had 4 passing TD's and 4 rushing TD's.

Look, football isn't a peace & love/everybody gets a trophy kind of thing.   It's violent and abrasive and as Jessie Spano (played by the lovely Elizabeth Berkeley) said in a "Saved by the Bell" episode, "it's a bunch of barbarians trying to kick each other's butts."  So, lopsided scores are part of the game, deal with it.

Yes, sportsmanship be damned.  "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women."
