Lawrence North is for real. That football team is loaded on offense. Time to add them to the serious contenders list in 6A.

Called it this summer.  Pull the receipts.

Very good team, got them in the 2nd tier with Crown Point, Cathedral, Warren Central, and Lawrence North. Brownsburg, Westfield, and Center Grove in the top tier

Warren in tier 2?

Yep, don’t think if they play any of the top 3 that their offense is going to do much. Those teams will score on their defense. Frankly, I think all of my 2nd tier teams would beat them as well

Has there ever been a 6-0 team that has 20+ turnovers?

That part

Hell, I misunderstood his question.

He questioning them in tier 2 thinking they should be in tier 1?

I was thinking tier 2 vs tier 3.

That's ok. I believe you. Probably some ibuprofen or some ice will help those triceps.

I thought they could challenge Cathedral for the sectional…now I think they are the favorite.

(With the right to change my mind after Friday of course.)

That Sectional should be one to watch with LN and Cathedral and a potential sleeper in LC if they ever get things together on the same night.

Huge advantage to whomever draws NC.

Is this the year LN sends Cathedral back to 5A?

No this is year 1 of the cycle so Cathedral is in 6A for 24'-25' and 25'-26" seasons. So in the event LN beats Cathedral in Sectional it would give Cathedral a score of 0, however Cathedral in 25'-26' could win a sectional and regional giving them the 3 points to remain in 6A. SO it would come down to next seasons results

Cathedral should be really good next year so winning a regional shouldn't be a monumental task. But I wouldn't put anything past the IHSAA at tweaking the accumulating # of points needed if Cathedral was in serious jeopardy of dropping back a class.

Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you. 🤪

At this point I don't care, nothing to get worked up over. Just know that the IHSAA has tweaked the success factor twice in instances where Cathedral was set to move down a class. I don't believe it to be a coincidence.

Zero preference.

I can relate to that answer. Deep runs in 5A are fun, but so is the competition 6A has to offer.
