Thanks for the advance warning! My Hanover College Senior daughter now has a new Student Peacock subscription at $2.99/mo.

I have Peacock because I'm a Notre Dame fan, and they have a lot of Irish content.

Mannnnnnn....tough game in a tough place to play. Nice to come away with the win. IU never really adjusted to the blitzing that Iowa was doing until that last TD play.

You misunderstand, spread should be about 14 points in all honesty. The reason the spread keeps climbing from the original of 3.5 is because all of the money is going on the Hoosiers. IU will literally have to 💩the bed for this game to be close

IU didn't crap the bed....wasn't their best game, but Iowa deserves credit.  What a defensive scheme.  IU better go back, watch film and work on picking up blitzes...especially corner blitzes on short yardage situations.  Beating Iowa at Iowa City is never easy.....

Great win for the Hoosiers, but the blitz pickup and recognition was poor. With Cooper and Sarrat and having 1 on 1 coverage, the opportunities were there and finally they got the big play at the end of the game. Better get lots of film work cuz it gets harder in 2 weeks at Oregon. 20 points will not get it done at Oregon

It seemed as though Mendoza did not have an option to check plays at the line because some of those blitzes were shown before the snap. Or maybe he wasn't seeing them?

It was very obvious watching on TV when they were blitzing and there seemed to be no adjustments to what Iowa was doing. Granted, Iowa has the best defense the Hoosiers have seen this year, but it seemed that pressure affected the IU offense more than it should have. Reminded me of the 2 losses IU had last year

The Hawkeyes brought too many on that last IU TD.  Sarratt caught the ball and had only one defender to beat, and he did.  Honestly, it's a mark of a good team to find a way to win when they're not playing their best.  Next up for the Hoosiers is Oregon, on the road.

Good response by the Illini at home to beat USC. Some pundits downplayed IU’s throttling of Illinois last week by saying the Illini were overrated. Perhaps a little, but their win over USC yesterday is a plus for IU.

Why’d Riley go for the jugular with 2 minutes to go knowing his defense was pourous and Illinois had three timeouts?

Arrogant and dumb.

Riley is building his James Franklin legacy…

Good question. One of those highly paid coaches not delivering results.

And don't forget Brian Kelly's legacy about big games too.

BK would have to recruit to get into James Franklin territory. He's his own distinct thing.

I'll take the 5-0 record for the consecutive years for the first time in IU history any day ot the week and then some.  Both under Coach Cig.  For IU to be expected to win at Kinnick Stadium??  Well, that's ground I am not personally used to be walking.

So Penn State not a great team....you may be right....

I understand the comment....still amazed I am living to see the Hoosiers not cover a spread while winning at Iowa.  Honestly, never thought I'd see these days.....

It was said postgame IU called all plays on the sideline and didn't make any audibles/pre-snap changes because of the crowd noise.
