Sad that a college kid feels he has to apologize to gamblers for winning a football game. Kind of indicative of the sick spiral that is "big time" college football. Give me a brisk fall afternoon and a college football game at places like Crawfordsville, Greencastle, Franklin, Hanover, etc. I'll take that over Ross-Ade, "The Big House", even Notre Dame stadium practically every single time. I probably should have clarified...not sure that his apology was sincere....I think it was more "tounge in cheek". He made it clear that is first priority is IU. Quote
Komets2727 Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 When the line opened for the week, IU was favored by 3.5 points, but so much money was put on the Hoosiers it jumped up to 8.5 points. 1 Quote

Komets2727 Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 UCLA 42 - Penn State 37, Big game James NEVER fails to amaze me… 2 1 Quote
Komets2727 Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 If I was a Penn State fan, I would call for the firing of Franklin. Atrocious record vs. Top 10 teams and he can never close the deal. Losing to a winless UCLA team is the final straw. As an IU fan, please keep him around… 2 Quote

IU literally has it all in front of them now. Fraudulent Penn State has 2 losses, Texas chokes again, Iowa State loses, Louisville loses. Very excited to see how IU fares against the Ducks Quote

By far, this is IU’s toughest game on the schedule. They have a great offense and defense, home crowd is raucous, and they hit speed to burn. Very well could be the best team in the country. It will be a helluva challenge for the Hoosiers 1 Quote
Irishman Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 I am excited about this game. I do agree that Oregon is an overwhelming favorite, but I also think Cignetti and his staff have done a great job with this team. Did it help to play at Iowa before this one? Hopefully. Yes I am aware that Iowa City is not the same as Eugene. Quote

Coach Nowlin Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 I will be doing an ALT LINE: Oregon -16.5. Not hating, just feel like this one Oregon is going to really turn it up and IU may not respond well in that enviroment. I want to get some good PLUS money action on it Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 man, just looked, -16.5 is only +190. meh. thought it would be around +280 Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 took -20.5, that was +280. good enough Quote
