Really think they’re the only team that has a shot. Bloomington South is a regular season wonder. Maybe EC can shake things up a bit. I don’t think EC shakes anything up this year. Quote

But, as @Komets2727 said, reading comprehension here leaves a lot to be desired. Quote

Subtle reminder Cathedral existed and was playing football 34 years before Scecina Memorial was built, 43 years before Bishop Chatard was built, 45 years before Cardinal Ritter was built, and 50 years before Roncalli was established by merging Kennedy Memorial (Sacred Heart) and Chartrand. Justasportsfan Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 And why is Jeff getting show much love? Are they really a 6a program playing in 5a? or is that warsaw? I forget who got bumped down. 1 Quote

If you look at Jeff's schedule, there's no reason to think they can't make a run to Lukas, and maybe even give the South a competitive game. Edited October 17, 2025 by 23andCounting Quote

I agree that they are very good, but that schedule, other than the Chatard game, can’t have done much to get them ready for a competitive tournament game, can it? 1 Quote

Although I'm an advocate for playing good teams to prepare for the tournament, sometimes it really just doesn't matter. Will it come back to bite Jeff when they take on Merrillville, New Pal, or Cathedral? Maybe. At the end of they day, they looked good against Chatard and took care of business the rest of the way by pretty good margins. Quote

I wouldn't be so sure. Although I think the line would be somewhere between 17-21 points, it wouldn't surprise me if either team made that game somewhat interesting. Quote
Rodney Posted October 17, 2025 Posted October 17, 2025 I have been told by someone I trust that Jeff is the real deal I put my faith in him that they are three to four touchdowns better than merrillville 1 Quote
