I hear some of these shootouts teams are playing 6,7,8 or more games in a day. When is it too much? I love that these kids get these opportunities but I think many of them would benefit from a month or so without sports. Have time to pick up hay, watermelons, or mow yards,

I know they actually lost a game or two, but the best single game team performance I ever saw was Warren in 2003. What they did to a good Penn team in the Finals was almost criminal.

GID Friends and Foes (Im sure there still lingering out there) 😁 I am letting you all know like I did the others on the leadership team a few weeks back, that come August, I will be beginning a new position within Rensselaer School Corp, going into El Ed PE which was my original degree 18 years ago, so will finally enjoy getting myself back into that, but leaving behind 13 years of running our Alternative School and Credit Recovery program which allowed me to be in front of computer 8 hours a day running our lab for all of that, so being a primary member of the leadership team made sense for me at that time, but not so much anymore as I just will not have the time that this site takes during the season to moderate, et. al that goes into the day to day, week to week, etc. s I want to thank @DK_Barons and @77Jimmie for allowing me onto their team back in 2010, its been a nice little run for myself around these parts and I will be still a member and retain my moderation tools, but will only be able to get on in a very limited basis moving forward and do not want to have folks wondering why I am not getting back to them in the typical ways that you have been accustomed to. Thanks to @Irishman all these years together running the day to day it seems, appreciate your support and accessibility brotha. Like I said, I will be on here and there throughout the rest of the summer and will help when I can until August but the slow phase out of my position within the leadership team. Thanks to the many members and supporters all these years, appreciate all of you. Hope many of you continue to provide your content and commentary within the confides of what Coach TA always wanted, a positive promotion of Indiana HS Football in your schools, communities throughout the entire state of Indiana. Leo - Returns some great players and will be a tough out. Can't say I love their offense, but if Miller can grind it out on the ground and get Crawford the ball in space they will be tough to stop. Defensive line with Livingston and Allen will cause a lot of issues. East Noble - They being back some talented receivers and play makers, but the QB position is up in the air, but they return the entire OL. If they have someone who can get the ball in the hands of Zolman and Munson they will be a tough team to beat. Sadly I have to agree with this.

The fun in engaging in these forum discussions is pointing out teams who could 'possibly' make some noise from the north. Last year it was Merrillville, and why not, they had some pretty darn good talent. The year before was Homestead. Their hopes were dashed when they lost their "all everything" running back during week 8. This year? I'm gonna have to roll with Penn. Why? Because there is no one else if Westfield is as good as they were last year. Or maybe it is Carroll if they can improve the defense. "Believe it when you see it?".................sure, don't blame ya.

Of course, Carroll has yet to prove anything in football. I'm not sure what you are referring to with the "this time every year we hear it," comment. I think the most anyone said last year with regard to Carroll was that they could give anyone a scare with their potent offense. But it seemed like as the year wore on, the defense got worse. The odds of Sectional 3 beating Sectional 4 this year is about 1:7 (Sectional 3 took a huge hit with the loss of Snider). The communities of Homestead and Carroll could rival any in the state with regard to facilities, household income and overall success in sports. So I think everyone just keeps waiting for it to happen. I don't see it happening this year, Westfield is just too good it appears.

That pretty much sums up Carroll's team last year. With the return of their QB, the offense should be dangerous once again this year. The defense can't get any worse I don't think.

Westfield played Center Grove tougher than any MIC school did last year. Zionsville played Cathedral tougher than Carmel did. Soon these moral victories will turn into actual on the field victories, it’s just a matter of time. In fact, I will go on the record as stating Westfield wins a football state championship before Warren or Ben Davis wins their next one. Mark the tape.

Nice to see you’ve come back for more lessons/punishment. I disagree that the HCC is on any sort of down cycle with perhaps the exception of Brownsburg. Westfield - the Center Grove of the north suburbs in the coming years and favorite in 6A north Zionsville - Stud OL kid heading to South Bend, a legitimate contender to represent the north in 5A Avon - a young nucleus, well coached team that will improve with experience Hamilton Southeastern/Fishers - broke in brand new coaches during a pandemic and will only continue to improve with a full year under their belts Brownsburg - 2021 will be a true test of Hart’s coaching ability with the exodus of talent that they suffered, still loaded with unproven guys though Franklin Central/Noblesville - both have finally gone all in and pushed their chips to the middle of the table with their commitment to football, will continue to take their lumps in the short term though Look, you’ve made it blatantly obvious that you are blind to the changing socioeconomics and demographics that make up central Indiana but you cannot deny the fact that the gap continues to close. A decade ago the HCC wasn’t even close and now they are winning their fair share of regular season matchups. While I will continue to agree that no one will take them seriously until they knock MIC teams from the tournament in October and November, the facts are right in front of your face dude. It’s the same old story in the MIC every year. Carmel and Center Grove continue to reload and distance themselves from the rest of the conference. Warren/Ben Davis boast athletes galore and continue to stay afloat based on their large enrollment advantage. Lawrence North and North Central head up the middle of the conference but no one will take them seriously until they put a dent in the top four. (Hell, Lawrence North possibly had the two best skill position players in the conference last year and couldn’t even win the sectional.) Lawrence Central and Pike are after thoughts and have absolutely zero to offer in terms of exciting their fanbases. Yet another swing and a miss from you.

The origins of our current U.S. health care system are well known. And that current system needs to change. To a free market solution.
