In all fairness, we run the three plays both directions...

It's my understanding that when blocked and recovered BEHIND the line of scrimmage, the offensive team can advance the ball. It should have been a touchdown for Columbia City. It's a shame for Leo, all they had to do was recover the ball after it was blocked, but the team started celebrating instead.

Ball then gets spotted at the ORIGINAL spot of the 4th down play, NOT at the 4 yard line. It was a "loose ball" inadvertent whistle". Clearly CC would have elected to re-do the down. But they would not get to advance it. If so, then they are saying the down counted and would be giving them a "5th down" for the re-do. They got the re-try at the wrong spot.

Brownsburg’s win over Fishers now looks much less impressive as does tonight’s squeaker against Noblesville. Brownsburg barely edged Westfield, who beat CG by single digits who got rolled by LN tonight. I think we finally have our parity in 6A.

Should be given extreme consideration for #1 in the various polls come next week. I’ve moved em there.

Franklin county wildcats get a solid win over batesville. 31 to 17

I believe I just heard the score is : Columbus East - 38 Jeffersonville - 0 5:30 left before half. Jeff has negative yards in the first half. Only 1 1st down in the half for Jeff.

Southwood has been in every game that they have played this year for the most part. They have a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball, they've been plagued by the injury bug all year. They are well coached. Rochester has to be ready to play for 4 quarters. Everyone is excited about the Maconaquah/Rochester conference championship possibility next week but both teams have to take care of business tonight in order for that to happen.

Here's hopin the Northern Lights show as well as they did last night. So, there's that. 😆

Pretty quiet week, although Sunday will be an interesting conversation depending on the Sectionals.
