Gipper Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 To go along with the Blue Jeans, we also have the Mitchell Bluejackets and Tipton Blue Devils. A few more include the Clarksville Generals, Crawford County Wolfpack (or Woofpack of you asked Donnie Baker), and Franklin Central Flashes. I would think North Central's handle of the Thunderbirds would be unique, only to share it with Eastern Greene, who is on their schedule... Quote

Gipper Posted August 27, 2024 Author Posted August 27, 2024 A few more for you: the Concord Minutemen, Indianapolis Washington Continentals (as both keep the Revolutionary War theme alive. Knox has decided to go the anti-PC route by hanging on to the Redskins moniker, while Goshen became the Redhawks. Additionally, the Lakeland Lakers can be found in the northeast part of the state while Oak Hill's Golden Eagles honor one of the fastest birds in the world. What say you, Winchester Golden Falcons? Purdue Poly is known as the Techies while Union Mills, to my east, are the Satellites. OK, so the list is starting to wane, but there are still some good ones out there that have gone unmentioned. And as opposed to the ever-common Braves, Bulldogs, Cougars, Devils (both Blue and Red), Eagles, Panthers, Spartans, and Warriors--why not something more creative? Personally, I'd go with the Warthogs, maybe the Yeti or Pitbulls. Quote
